Telling you the Snell MTB is a great ball. As a golf snob, it's on the line for me, but the fact dude co-designed the ProV and other great products justifies it (barely) for me. Still won't replace ProV as my competition ball.

Not sure I could mentally get past playing a Costco Ball -- but I do acknowledge EVERY thing Kirkland makes is Top Quality in my experience.
100% completely agree. Love the MTB!

Out here waiting on bbdk and cawood to get their 18 in. Only two golfers on the course, 40 degrees, wind 20 mph, and misting. Thanks guys.

Tub is an insecure golfer/fella, that much is clear.

Probably a great cart boy though, seems to work hard. We don't have to tip you, do we?

Pretty certain there's a better chance Tiger wins THE MASTERS than this TC match happening.

That penalty Lexi Thompson was assessed was complete BS. Beyond stupid tv viewers can point out a penalty a day later during the next round causing all kinds of chaos to a tournament more less a major.

I hope Lexi Thompson finds out who called it in and goes and beats the crap out of them.

My cart guys would appreciate a tip, as I did in my day as well.

1.) You haven't touched a club in 2 months
2.) You work in a Golf Shop & a complete Titleist honk.
3.) You don't play in any actual tournaments in Kentucky

Obvious conclusion is that you're a Golf Pro or Apprentice.

So recommend a good video/swing app.

2 or 3 years ago she would have been DQ'd, so I guess only a 4 stroke penalty is progress?

I don't even really mind that people can call in. There's not officials watching every shot at all times, so I guess sometimes they need the help. No one like snitches, but I can at least make an argument for the need.

But getting penalized for signing an incorrect scorecard is the dumbest rule in sports. Unless it was an intentional act to cheat, just let it go. Again, it used to be an automatic DQ so at least it's heading in the right direction, but 2 strokes the day after still is ridiculous.

Swing profile is nice. Although I'm more old school and not a huge fan of all the crazy new technology out there, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

That's messed up what happened to Lexi.

The LEXI problem as I see it is that not every single player is on TV. This is not like baseball, football, or basketball where the entire world sees what happens. Not every single golfer is on tv. Hell some may play an entire 18 holes and not get on second of air time.

So with that being said, if a penalty cannot be noticed and assessed on every single player in the field, then it should not be assessed to a handful that happen to be on the leader board. And if it is not caught by the rules official, then end of story.

Oh and I also think you should get a free drop out of a divot.

Unable to fix my issues at the moment on my own, which I'm usually able to do with some time -- but it's just not happening.

Want to see my swing, has to be something pretty blatant the way I'm hitting it.

^just have a buddy record it on ur phone. I'm sure you'll be able to see what's causing it. Lessons and swing apps and this and that = overrated.

Going to, but had seen another guy who had done the same, and he was able to slow it down, run it back, key in, mark planes, and really "see it" with ease on whatever app he has -- just seemed a little better than a straight phone video. It's not necessary, obviously.

Lessons are overrated? For such a golf ball, you really say some stupid ****.

Really weird that you have an issue with someone who's hitting the ball like complete *** wanting to watch their own golf swing for the first time in years, or potentially get some help from a Professional.

My pro uses Coach's Eye. Videos my swing and sends a nice analysis video where he talks, draws lines, etc. and then sends it to me after a lesson. I go back to them from time-to-time when old habits come back out. IMO is an excellent tool for teaching pros to use.

Video analysis changed my game and has revolutionized the game of golf. Anyone who does not think it has is blindly old school.

Our pro uses one as well. Pretty stupid to analyze the golf swing on video though, imo.

I'm more old school ---> just go pound balls, you'll figure it out eventually...or if not, just ingrain those bad habits even worse. Doesn't really matter, it's just a game. [eyeroll]

I just said they're overrated. I feel like a pro can guide you in the right direction, but can't actually teach you. That's on you to figure out. So yea, maybe a quick "lesson" to see if they see something major or obvious might help. But be careful is all I'm saying, some can get ahold of you and mess everything up while they're fattening their pockets (trust me I've seen it).
But I'd stick to the way it sounds like you've done it most of your life and try to figure it out on your own first.

This has the Russians written all over it. Meddling in elections wasn't enough, now they want to influence the outcome of women's golf tournaments.

67 degrees & a 25-45% chance of precipitation in Lexington. Sounds like hell is coming, boys. Be careful!

I'm off Tates Creek road and not a drop of rain as of right now! I think there is hope for this epic showdown.

It is not raining but it is definitely windy as hell. Any reason TC was picked for the match, which is all of about 6100 yards from the tips? Seems like Lakeside or especially Kearney would have been a better choice. But hey, I am just a member of the peanut gallery, so what do I know?

Golden Tee would have been fine for me. Lots of smack talk confirmation going to happen by 7pm.

Everyone knows Tates Creek is the crown jewel of Lexington Golf Courses.
