Gonna be a good one tonight......Bobby Wahl vs. Chris Stratton.....who do ya like and why?
</div><div>Like I was saying earlier, but no one bit- .237 scoring 84 runs. Does that not jump out at you some? It should because it's telling you we don't really have to hit a lot to score runs (or, we're not). We play to get on base (however possible) and advance that guy home. At the end of the day, I want to be able to hit and score, but while we're maturing at the plate, we're still learning to get people across. We were awful at that at the beginning, and still aren't great, but I'd say we've gotten better at scoring.</div><div>
</div><div>You can pitch us great, but if you let somebody on base (and we have guys that do that fairly well) and we get the right hit.... we can win too.</div>
There's a lot that goes into it other than the stats. <div>patdog said:Might want to rethink that whole "we've played UT and you haven't" argument. Teams we've faced have a composite ERA of 4.04. Teams you've played have a composite ERA of 4.13. So explain to me again how you're so much better than us at virtually every position but can't score any more runs than us against worse pitching.
