Goochland vs WMHS

I know no one here believes Wilson has a shot to beat Goochland on Friday. From what little we know about Goochland, it seems they give up a lot of yards against the run. What else do we know about the Bulldogs?

They can throw it pretty well. They do have trouble stopping the run not as big up front as they usually are.

I think they should go pass first. He gives them a solid chance against anybody threw the air.

Do they still rely on that Jet Sweep like years ago? Wilson has struggled but especially in vs. passing teams...

Like the last 3 times Goochland and Wilson Memorial has played, Wilson Memorial has a lot to be proud of. Great fans, coaches and team. You guys do "Friday Night Light's" the right way........

That 4th and 11 conversion on the opening drive killed me. Thought we could get a little momentum but Reid made a great pass and the WR did the rest.

We had a good blend of run and pass on offense last night. Most people do not know about Reid Chenault and what he can do in the passing game for Goochland.

The turnover on your second play on offense also set the tone. You have a young team and I am sure they have learned a lot this year. The way things have gone, we'll probably see you next year...... Lol....

Reid's uncle is my neighbor and we work together! Lol I've known allllllll about him!

Yea I've come to just expect to play you guys! We play you just as much as our district opponents it seems like.

Grats to Goochland. Thanks for your hospitality, (outside of the beating on the field) once again you gave us. Good luck to you the rest of the way. Most people are writing off any East team, so I would love to see you guys catch some of the West teams off guard and take the title. All four times we have played I feel like I am watching the same game lol. We have never played well against you guys, and to your credit it is because of your coaching staff and players. Good luck the rest of the way, if you can play solid D against a legitimate offense, you have a shot to take this thing.

The East is getting very little respect. It will be settled on the field and hopefully the East will represent. Defense wins championship and it will be key to whoever win's it all this year.
