They probably are more accepted there than here. I know girls from the mid-west that live down here and they all date black guys exclusively. Just sayin'.

and 4 years from now, they'll be looking for a new coach again. Sorry, I like Turner Gill a lot, but he's not going to win many games at Kansas.

I think he'll do well. The dude won at freaking Buffalo. Jabba the Mangino showed you can win at KU.

Bunch of flukes, much like Croom's Liberty Bowl year.

This year, he was 5-7 but he didn't play the toughest schedule in the nation.
Losses to Ohio, Bowling Green, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Pittsburgh, Temple and Central Florida.

It was freaking Buffalo. His last 3 years they were 18-20 (5-7, 8-6, 5-7). Before that:

1999: 0-11
2000: 2-9
2001: 3-8
2002: 1-11
2003: 1-11
2004: 2-9
2005: 1-10
2006: 2-10

That's 12-79 for those of you counting at home. And before that, they were a ****** I-AA team. Gill will win at Kansas.

It used to be a pretty good mid-major conference, but in recent years it has become a pathetic joke. You might want to look up the conference's bowl record in the last several years.

Buffalo couldn't even compete in I-AA 10 years ago. Their first 8 years in I-A they won 12 freaking games! I don't care what conference they were in, to win 5 games at Buffalo is a freaking miracle.

Temple went 7-1 in that conference (including a 37-13 win over Buffalo) and lost to a I-AA team this year. Seriously, have you seen the MAC lately? Back when Buffalo was going 0-8 and 1-7, it was a pretty decent conference. Lately it's been the worst conference in I-A though, and it's really not even been close to 2nd worst.
