This...why the 17 do those dumb17's struggle with the timing on this so much. I just don't understand how their timing can be that far off. Seriously, we need some communication between them and us over this situation.

Maybe they're on time and you aren't? Or maybe it's just that sound travels and it takes a second to get to you. That's why the timing is off...they do the cheer on time and you do your cheer on time, but it's not in sync because it took a second for you to hear it.

Someone needs to sync Dak's run with the Jim Ross audio. The stiff arm needs to happen when the slam on the audio occurs.

If you can get me the audio I can do it, no problem.

This isn't a West side takes a second to hear East side problem. I've been just above them in the club level and they just rush the hell out of it. There's a tempo to the cheer (as you hear at the end of this video) and a large majority of our students don't even try and do it at that speed.

No, it's just rushed horribly. I've been there.

I was in the student section not too many years ago - the students just do the end at a completely different tempo. The worst part is that they can only hear each other while it's happening, and most of them have no idea they are rushing it so badly.

He said (if I recall correctly) that the student section is 'racing' the band to sing it as fast as they can.

they want to do that? That makes absolutely no sense. Then again, their off-beat rhythm makes no sense whatsoever.

I almost missed the opening.

We took the opening of LSU's "Death Valley at Night" video and started ours with it. If you haven't seen it, the verbiage/narration on the original LSU video, it is some of the best ever done.

And our video folks teabagged them with it. Well done.
