Seems like Sherry was an extremely loyal coach. As previously stated I have no clue about the actual reason, but even with the tough circumstances outlined on the article his removal may have been a result of Dr. Gurley's (superintendents) high standards. Good luck to Coach Sherry.

I mean, as an outsider, it sounds like Woody made it known he would be interested, and Charlottesville leaders probably want him. Sherry sounds like a very classy guy, the way he’s handling it in the media.
