Not to hijack, but do we expect to get anything out of Seth Davis? He was looking really good before his injury.
When I asked about it a while back I was told his rehab was going poorly. That was a few months ago though.
I like everything about that, including that he wrote it.
Seth is a great dude. Without getting into the specifics, I doubt he plays again. Literally every ligament in his knee was shredded. People don't realize the extent of his injury. It wasn't as simple as just an acl.
That's a guy you just want to see do well. Both on the field, and also after school.
Seth should have gotten out when the clown car pulled up. Feel bad for players that ended up with the Baconater crew.
I love this. What a great read. He didn't have to write that, or tell his story, but so glad he did. Like someone else said, this will make 'ya boy' easy for me this year. I'll ride with 6.

Great article, he’s definitely a well spoken young man and man he has my respect and a real fan in me for certain. I absolutely love it and his genuine love for our school and program. So I know he will leave his all on the field for us this season I have no doubt of that. I feel like we should be able to score pretty well this year. Or scoring shouldn’t be a big problem with our offense, Lebby can coach players and develop them well, he’s known for that. Hopefully our defense is really a good deal better like players have said. Last year was definitely rough even with a talented back up freshman Van Buren at times was here we really moved the ball quickly and scored fast also had hard times. Maybe not overall great but in a first year HC as our HC, and the wreck that Arnett left as well without much of an O Line and bad Defense struggles. Like I said I believe this year will be different for some reason I believe we will exceed expectations at least. Or maybe just reach a bowl who knows, however this year will be very telling I think and setting up year 3 with Lebby. Which is when we should actually “expect” to have a much better product on the field a I feel expect to be bowling well and getting really more steady. Oh man I hope I’m right. I may be completely wrong but I think we at least compete and beat a few teams this year even with our schedule the way it is. Kind of like we last year we were so close to beating ASU in OT even with their beast RB Skattebo. I could be crazy but I could see us competing and winning just enough this year.
I hope he goes for 250 on USM and hits the Heisman watch lists.

As many have said it's hard to keep up with who is on the roster these days but if you can't root for this guy you might need to find something else to do on Saturdays in the fall. I love the self reflection, honesty, work ethic and journey this kids been on. All the best both football and non-football to him!
