Says the guy who defends a serial sexual batterer.

Loser.

Show where I defended him for the crimes he was charged with. Typical Hawk level of reading comprehension. I pointed out facts, rather than the lies printed by a newspaper. Most adults, unlike you apparently (maybe you're about 11, since your argument skills are on about that level), try to base their arguments/discussions on facts. Try it sometime, it's refreshing.

Also, serial implies more than 1. He was charged and convicted of 1 count of Third Degree Misdemeanor Sexual Assault. Given that the Lancaster County DA at the time was willing to charge and overcharge NU football players with crimes based on the flimsiest of evidence, and yet found no basis to charge CP with any other crimes, that pretty much puts to rest any suggestion that the other claims have the slightest shred of truth to them. Oh, and as for the woman in Kearney, she was charged with making a false police report since it turned out that she physically assaulted CP, not the other way around. CP just yelled at her, for which he was cited for disturbing the peace. There's those pesky facts again.

Finally, I'll help you, since you have also demonstrated an Iowan's math skills. One does not equal more than one. Ergo, he is not a serial sexual batterer.

Facts- Awesome Hawk's mortal enemy.

Tom Osborne said Christian was a "model guy."

Christian Peter, a senior defensive tackle, was sentenced to 18
months probation in May 1994 after he pleaded no contest to a
charge of third-degree sexual assault brought by a former Miss
Nebraska, Natalie Kuijvenhoven, who was then a Nebraska student.
According to Osborne, Kuijvenhoven's lawyer contacted him about
Peter, and Osborne says he suggested that all the
parties--including Peter--meet in his office at the athletic
department. But Kuijvenhoven would have none of it. "It's clear
Osborne was trying to intimidate me in order to get rid of me
before a trial would ever happen," Kuijvenhoven told SI. Osborne
says he has never pressured a witness.

Osborne says that Peter, a Cornhusker captain, has been "a model
guy" since completing a private program that no one at Nebraska
can discuss in any detail.

Being an Iowa fan, I guess you would know something about covering up sexual assaults. Yours involves the current coach, not a former coach from 20 yr's ago.

Here's some reading:
A fellow student-athlete at Iowa alleged she was sexually assaulted by two football players on October 14, 2007. Within 36 hours of the assault the victim reported the incident to the highest levels of the Iowa Athletic department. Including athletic director Gary Barta, head football coach Kirk Ferentz, associate athletic director Fred Mims, and a faculty member. According to the victim's mother all of these individuals encouraged the victim to allow them to handle an on campus investigation rather than reporting the assault to authorities.

Left to handle the investigation, the mother states Iowa officials did nothing for over three weeks. In fact, one of the alleged perpetrators even moved in three doors down from the victim, and the victim says she was constantly harassed by the men and received no protection from university officials.

Here's the article: http://deadspin.com/5027393/university-of-iowa-athletic-staff-conspired-to-cover-up-a-sexual-assault

Even one of your own publications was calling for Kirk's, and other athletic Dept officials, resignations: http://www.blackheartgoldpants.com/2008/7/21/575697/into-the-light

Before you come back with the standard, "there's more to the story", and "that isn't the whole truth" lines, just remember that you Hawk fans don't want to hear anything else but the media's, and your own, version of CP and his issues.
By those same standards, we should choose to believe everything in those two linked articles and disregard anything else.
So...Your current coach covered up sexual assault and allowed the perpetrators to harass the victim. It's a fact, the media said so!

Actually there is a good chance the game won't mean anything to Iowa since we will probably be resting players for the big10 championship game.

Yeah...fat chance you will be resting players. Also..lol at the "game won't mean anything to Iowa"....a good majority of your fans are obsessed with Nebraska. They certainly don't want to fall to 1-4 vs NU in the past 5 years

Iowa needs to be undefeated to get into the 4 team playoff.
If they were to lose to Nebraska due to "resting players", end up with one loss and fail to make the playoffs...
That would be one of the dumbest coaching moves in the history of college football.

It's scary how obsessed the hawk fans are with us... even more pathetic is their infatuation with players from 20 years ago...

No, methinks I'm trying to educate you. But it's clearly going waaaaaaay over your head. Probably like remedial math and English did.
