Good win, Smith was a beast. Hopefully you're beating LSU

Portends us having a shot against Bama, as they are our version of your LSU. I also had y'all +9 so that helped me enjoy your win. It would be awesome to see the two Mississippi schools at the top of the conference, and to be honest everyone seems to look beatable this year.

How Do you feel about your game with bama? UF has a pretty good d and Bama scored at will against them. Yall are going to have to find a running game to have a chance in my opinion. I would say good luck, but I want you to lose. Hopefully it'll be a fun game to watch though.

OM is going to struggle against power teams. Not a flame just stating you guys are built for more finesse teams. Physicals teams will try to impose there will and just wear down your small DL and LB's. Proof has been your inability to stop and establish the run in games.

Memphis is shaping up to be a classic trap game for UM. But, you're right, it would be great to see the Egg Bowl stakes be for the SECw championship.

Sorry but that's a generality. What we do or don't do against LSU has absolutely nothing to do with what Alabama may or not do to your team. Every win is at least good.

Yup I've been saying this for a few weeks now. OM better not be looking ahead to this gameday matchup with bama.... Memphis is gonna be a deceptively tough. They want to win, too.

an expected loss to Bama in no way ruins our season. I called 8 wins. Anyway, this thread was really supposed to be about your impressive win, the Bama part I thought was obvious as a joke.

If Bama rolls y'all and we find a way to beat a top 10 aTM, I think a lot of your folks would consider the season over.

The joke was comparing your team to our team. It's comical that you don't understand what Bama does to teams psychologically. When will TSUN right the ship? #WeBelieve2014

WE win 4 of those 6 games. LSU is obviously not what they usually are and they have no QB. We will beat UT, Presbyterian, and the other win comes against either Bama, Auburn, or A&M.

We beat lsu by running and stopping the run. These are 2 things you aren't very good at.

Just go ahead and say TSUN is going undefeated. You'll sound less like a dubmass.

You've got to figure out how to stop the run first, genius. You gave up 200 yards on the ground to ULL and nearly that many to Boise. You also have no running game and this same bama defense sat on your basketball offense for 4 quarters last year BECAUSE YOU COULDNT RUN THE BALL.

I think OM has a very good shot at bama.

Their defense is not what it has been the last few years and their weakness has generally been throwing teams that can play defense, which defines you guys pretty well.

That said, without a run game you'll have trouble controlling the clock and keeping that d off the field and Q4 might be rough against some teams. Throwing the comeback route and jump ball to Quon only works for so long.

Meh I wouldn't go as far to say that we have trouble stopping the run . Part of why teams run the ball so much is because they can't pass it on us and I would much rather have trouble with the occasional 6-10 yard running play then 65 yard bombs in the passing game like you guys . Passing scores faster then running the majority of the time . It's a trade off I'll gladly take. Lsu's qb repeatedly missed wide open receivers and when he didn't it went for a touchdown . I'll take giving upa few running plays to avoid that .

My actual intent here was to congratulate y'all, not have this devolve into a comparison of teams. You looked good.

So when bama starts grinding out 6-8 min drives running at will and keeps your offense off the field, you'll gladly take that over deep passes we gave up in ONE GAME?? I saw some pretty damn good 1 on 1 plays from our corners last night coupling that with only giving up 87 yards on the ground (the only "deep" pass we gave up since was a fade route late in the game)? You are a delusional dumbass.

Not sure how you can even make this statement. OM hasn't played anyone this year to make a claim that they have a decent secondary. Bama threw all over Florida. Do you really think your dbs are better than Hargreaves? But I understand your arguing for the sake of arguing. States dbs may not be the best, but they shutout LSU for 3 quarters.

No, you lose four of those 6 games. You SHOULD beat Tennessee, but that's not a gimme. I think you're in good shape with the Blue Hose though.

By the time OM plays LSU in Death Valley on Oct 25th, the rebs will more than likely be facing Brandon Harris instead of Jennings. Look for LSU to use the New Mexico State game to get Harris ready for Auburn.

Dandy Don's words ...

On the night, Jennings ended 13-of-26 for 157 yards and no TDs (100.7 RTG). By comparison, Dak Prescott ended 15-of-24 for 268 yards and two TDs (183.8 RTG). The most encouraging thing to come from last night’s performance was the play of Brandon Harris who ended 6-of-9 for 140 yards and two TDs (248.4 RTG). It will be very interesting to see how Harris’ performance is interpreted by the coaches and what it means for him moving forward.

We showed LSU who their real QB is for the rest of the year.

If they don't go to that backup, they are crazy. Jennings is not good at all. The other guy threw a nice ball and gave their receivers a chance. That may spell trouble for the rest of the teams on their schedule. Especially ones that do not have a true running game that can take over the game.
