The Governor of Arkansas, Mike Bebee, is a ASU grad and big ASU fan. No way he lets UofA hire Malzahn away from ASU. Plus, Malzahn would not leave ASU under these conditions to take the UPig job. Never happen.

is to go with an "interim coach," see how Malzahn (+wife) do as a head coach at Ark St, and make a new hire (or stick with Inerim if he excels) next Nov/Dec.

That's what Ohio St did last year.

until late Monday and that was only that a wreck happened. How the hell are they going to get word out that they are searching for a head coach, investigate all the wreck information, etc etc and have anyone say they are interested and want to interview and none of the press get wind of it???? To say they were interviewing for a week is their way to try to save face and sweep it under the rug. Your colleague needs to face reality in my opinion...
