That’s because he can’t convince any offensive difference makers to come let alone pay them. “Clearly working”? How? If not for Michigan State’s special teams meltdown in the 2nd half we’d be 5-7 just like last year

People should really stop saying this because it’s silly.

1) It was our only close win of the season. We won all 5 of the other games by 3+ scores.

2) we had our share of dumb plays that handed Michigan State points in the first half. The special teams errors just offset those.

3)- we were moving the ball at will on our final possession driving all the way to the Michigan State 24 before Greg called for the kneel downs. Kyle probably could’ve punched another TD through if he wanted to. In the end, it’s not like it was really this one possession nail biter where the ball bounced our way that folks make it out to be.

4) adding one more - even without the onside recovery, there was PLENTY of time left in the game to stop MSU and drive the length. On 3 straight drives to end the game, Michigan State failed to stop us once. I’m not sure why the assumption is we needed that onside to win. It wasn’t a desperation call with 1 minute left to play. Not even close.

Shelby not interested in Moose. He shares Moose’s disdain for the HC but Shelby prefers beauty on the outside to beauty on the inside, and Moose doesn’t sound remotely attractive.
