Do you have tires half buried in front painted white? I travel a lot for work and I get to Virginia once a year and it looks a lot like Mississippi. Just by population alone I would suspect they have more mobile homes then Mississippi.

we should be used to this by now.
We get the elitist private schools (Northwestern, Wake) and we even manage to get the snooty public schools (Michigan, and now Virginia).

I drove through Richmond a while back and for an hour straight leading up it was just trailers. Virginia is Mississippi if Mississippi had the nation's capital on the boarder. DC overflow built their state post-agriculture. We didn't have anything to fall back on, they did.

It is a very pretty state outside of the trailers though. A lot prettier natural features than Mississippi.

Interesting comments, especially since rural Virginia is a pretty hick place itself. I have relatives in Madison County, Virginia and have been to their county fair. Let's just say there looked to be a lot of family trees that didn't fork around that place.
