I think it is safe to say that Pirtle is our cleanup man until Wes comes around and hits for power. Plus, Pirtle has been pretty solid in SEC play.

It's a terrible move. But at least Cohen will change it as soon as he leaves RISP enough times. Just hope it doesn't cost us a game.

I agree that it isn't the best move to make. The LOB numbers have been way too high. Pirtle's bat has been doing well in conference play, but I'd put him in the 2-hole. Detz was a solid RBI guy when he was filling in for Wes, so I think he should bat cleanup until Wes comes around.

I like Porter being the DH, I'd rather have Frost at 3rd like we did this past weekend, and I'd rather Ammo not catch games that are as important as this one. This isn't just a midweek game. It's Ole Miss. C'mon. Hopefully Woodruff steps up like last week. And why Armstrong and not Henderson?

Henderson and Robson haven't been doing much at the plate. Henderson has been a GIDP machine lately and Robson is looking at way too many strike three calls.

Pirtle is hitting 70 points higher than anyone not named renfroe in sec play. Also has the second highest slugging percentage in sec by a decent amount. I think until someone else proves they can consistently hit sec caliber pitching, pirtle is going to bat clean up.
