Who's making the trip to Jackson? I got a friend who works for the M-Braves and let's me through the back so I'll be in the general admission seating. Anyone familiar with the park know where those are seated?

I think those are just in the outfield. I'm not sure though. I'm pretty sure its sold out just like the USM game was.
I'm hoping to be there. I know the only thing available is general admission (outfield) seating. If I'm gonna be getting there right at first pitch, what are the chances of a sellout? Should I pay the fee and get my ticket online, or am I ok to get it at the gate?
I don't think it's really possible to sell out the general admission in the outfield... If it did, it would crush the 8k something that is the current record for that park.
I'll be there as soon as the gates open @ 5 boozing in the grill...

You are invited to join the Central MS Alumni Chapter at the Farm Bureau Grill (in right field) at Trustmark Park in Pearl to watch the Diamond Dogs do battle with the Ole Miss Rebels in the annual Governor's Trophy game.
For $40 per person, you will receive a reserved ticket to the game and a trip through our Bulldog Baseball Buffet of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, potato salad, cookies, and soft drinks.
$10 beer wristbands will be available for the adults (while it lasts).
If you have already purchased your game ticket, you can still join in the fun and fellowship by purchasing a food wristband for $20, and a beer wristband for $10.
The buffet will be open from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

To purchase a ticket or wristband (by credit card), go to www.msu-alumni.com and click on Governor’s Cup Baseball link. There will be a small convenience fee charged for this transaction. Tickets will be available at the Central MS Chapter table outside the main gate at Trustmark Park starting at 4:30 p.m. on the day of the game. We will be taking reservations up until 10:00 p.m. Sunday, April 7th.

I'm assuming these are the ones on the very very first row. We sat there for the USM game when they "ran out of tickets". Your eyes are at field level but the nice thing is they have someone who will take your orders and bring you your food.
