With state playing within an hour of my home on the coast for the first time in my life, I'm at a work conference in Michigan. Anyone know of anywhere in Grand Rapids that shows SEC games or am I stuck with an iPad and big 10?

I stayed at Homewood Suites for about a month a few years ago. There was a Hooters within wading distance. As in the snow drifts were up to my 17ing waist first time I tried cutting across the vacant lot to get there.

It's being shown nationally on ESPNEWS. I imagine at 4/3 you'll be able to find a sports bar that will turn it on for you.

The problem is it's USA.

WOW. Odd little world to hear about Grand Rapids and Hooters. About 15 years ago, I was in Grand Rapids on business and desperate to see a bulldog basketball game that was airing on ESPN. My coworker and I looked, and hooters seemed to be the only place that stood out as recognizable as a sports bar. We went and put it on the company tab. I came home after the trip and my wife at the time saw the receipt and went bat **** crazy. She was of the opinion that Hooters was nothing but a strip club and those chicks were doing table dances in between shuttling wings and beer to tables.

Btw, for grins, i looked up that hoooters just now and it closed two years ago.
