I saw Neil Peart in 1980 at MSG, I’m not sure but it may have been the 2112 tour. He was great. I saw Black Sabbath in 1981 (I think) with with Ronnie James Dio, also at the Garden. I don’t remember the drummer’s name but he performed a short but very impressive drum solo.

pro-tip gotta have the mono mix on this one unless you want to hear it out of one ear only.
Drums throughout song but about 4:20 in they let it go and then again at the end. Wish I had seen them in concert!

They do remind me a lot of a rockier RadioHead and I think the reference to Sonic Youth was spot on.

Rams Head is pretty popular and has nice lineup planned: Elle King, Soccer Mommy, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and One I'm interested in seeing Modest Mouse.
The 8x10 club is usually pretty fun.
The Power Plant in the Harbor usually has a ton of offerings.
The Recker in Towson is good.
Probably one of the best is Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia is loaded with some good stuff this spring and summer: AJR, Foo Fighters, The Lumineers, Robert Plant and Allison Kraus, Tears for Fears, The Black Keys, Lord Huron, Pet Shop Boys and New Order.
and Sir Paul will be at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Forgot about this one as its just now starting back up after 2 years. The Radio Station out of Towson, WTMD, does a first thursday at the Canton Waterfront Park. Their line up is a really nice eclectic mix. I'm all in for The Black Pumas and Robyn Hitchcock.
And the Radio Station is awesome as well.
Indian drumming is arguably the most complex in the world. These guys don't just improv it. Every single note is learned and memorized.
