The song that made me want Santa to being me a drum set …
Not an old school classic, but an excellent technical drummer as well as entertaining! Glen Sobol, playing with Alice Cooper for many years. Great love show! Glen Sobol solo
I saw Neil Peart in 1980 at MSG, I’m not sure but it may have been the 2112 tour. He was great. I saw Black Sabbath in 1981 (I think) with with Ronnie James Dio, also at the Garden. I don’t remember the drummer’s name but he performed a short but very impressive drum solo.
One of the best right there. Legendary percussionist, Ginger Baker!
pro-tip gotta have the mono mix on this one unless you want to hear it out of one ear only.
Drums throughout song but about 4:20 in they let it go and then again at the end. Wish I had seen them in concert!
Not live, only videos.
It is funny, though I thought the same thing the Drum Teacher did. Mosh pit? I guess you can mosh to anything. LOL.
Dude We were in it. It is real
the second guitarist reminds us of Jonny greenwood he is spectacular
They do remind me a lot of a rockier RadioHead and I think the reference to Sonic Youth was spot on.
Feeling lame 2 and I haven’t seen a show since December gotta fix that. Any live scene in Baltimore? Hope to move this summer.
You're moving to Bmore? What part?
Bmore has a pretty good live music, scene, or at least did. Damn Covid.
Pier Six has a pretty good lineup on the way...
The Offspring, The War on Drugs, Bonnie Rait.
Metro Gallery on Charles St. has some pretty interesting stuff..https://themetrogallery.net/
Rams Head is pretty popular and has nice lineup planned: Elle King, Soccer Mommy, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and One I'm interested in seeing Modest Mouse.
The 8x10 club is usually pretty fun.
The Power Plant in the Harbor usually has a ton of offerings.
The Recker in Towson is good.
Probably one of the best is Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia is loaded with some good stuff this spring and summer: AJR, Foo Fighters, The Lumineers, Robert Plant and Allison Kraus, Tears for Fears, The Black Keys, Lord Huron, Pet Shop Boys and New Order.
and Sir Paul will be at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Forgot about this one as its just now starting back up after 2 years. The Radio Station out of Towson, WTMD, does a first thursday at the Canton Waterfront Park. Their line up is a really nice eclectic mix. I'm all in for The Black Pumas and Robyn Hitchcock.
And the Radio Station is awesome as well.
Indian drumming is arguably the most complex in the world. These guys don't just improv it. Every single note is learned and memorized.
If you find it boring, at least skip to 6:50 for a little flurry from the lead drummer.

Rush 1980 would have been Moving Pictures. 1979 was Permanent Waves. 2112 Tour would have been 1976.
Neil Peart on Buddy Rich.
"It's not fan talk, because I never really was a Buddy Rich fan"
One of many of Buddy on youtube. He isn't young here either. He was amazing.

Thank you. I think I kept the ticket stubs. I’ll look next time I visit mom. I’m not even going to try and guess (lol).
