18 lead changes 11 ties.

Sucks to lose that game we were so close to winning it, but really gotta give the team credit. So many players stepped up.

Their ace Karaban killed us hitting bomb 3’s all game (5:6) while our ace Clark struggled (2/10, 5 TO). Such is life. But I was very impressed with that game.

Great Effort!
Fouls and 3pt defense were bad.
Budd was even worse.
Xavier will beat us by double digits

Great game, week off really helped, fresh legs, lots of energy and uncharacteristically good 3-point shooting but it wasn't enough.

That non-call when Clark tried to coax a 3-point shot was just a terrible non-call. Now it wasn't a foul in the act of shooting but everyone knew they were going to foul with 2 still to give. And that ref just swallowed his whistle. He should be investigated for that.

The replay on it wasn’t black and white.

Demary made contact on his hip with his body but had yet to wrap up of fully extend his hands.

Budd was trying to be savvy and was a second too early.

it doesn’t excuse the rest of the foul discrepancy but I don’t think that was a foul after seeing the replay.

If the roles were reversed it would’ve been a flagrant 2 on seton hall

it was not a no call. He had his hands on Clark’s hip. A few seconds earlier they called the foul. Maybe not a shooting foul but it was a foul.

In 3 games vs Uconn & StJ
Clark 3pts, 4pts, 12pts. He has been AWFUL vs great teams
I hate being harsh. He has been our best player looking into context and is most important anyway since he is our only reliable playmaker, but the fact we have to rely on him to win is already makes it harder for this team. He just isn't Powell or Whitehead that can carry a bigger responsibility.

I appreciate his big shots against weaker teams this season, but when you need your best players the most, massively failed. And those shots down the stretch just shows an extreme selfish mentality to me. The other guys, literally most guys were great tonight. It was a team game tonight. For me to see him RUIN IT like that really pisses me off.

Not really surprised with the foul disparity with the way BE officiating has controlled the narratives of so many games this season. Most egregious was the and 1 that Fisher made in the first half when they called a travel instead. The ref closest to the play clearly called a foul but was overruled for some reason.

I wonder when the last time a Hurley coached team played such a physical game & only had 2 unintentional fouls called against them in the second half.

Watching the game with a former HS ref, who could not believe the call.

The fouling was also miraculous given Connecticut has one of the worst fouling rates. It’s been an issue all year for them I guess they got it fixed in the second half.

Let’s also mention the refs. 1 fg and 11 ft in last 5 mins to beat us. That fg was also a push in the back on the o rebound. Not giving UConn credit. Playing 8-5 is easy.

Awful take. My brother was sitting next to me no skin in the game from a rooting standpoint and was speechless that wasn’t a call. That’s always called at the end of games when teams are fouling. Clear foul, ref could see arms extended on the grab

21-2 FTA in second half per Popkin. Yikes. Refs were very jumpy when Connecticut was scrambling at end of SC.

Before Clark threw up that 3 trying to get the call, didn’t Demaray wrap him up?
A foul is usually called in that game situation.

Bingo- the BS call with 53 seconds remaining should cost the ref his tournament assignment.
That’s silly. Let’s talk real BS. Real BS is seeing a team that looked like a true NCAA tournament team today and we’ve only seen this level of play only a handful of times from our guys. That’s the real BS. 20+ times of mediocrity win or lose when we have the potential to play like this.
