I guess the third base coach thought that he could take a chance since the guy wasn't in great position and had screwed up earlier. Maybe he thought his psyche was a little weak.

Holliday might not have touched the plate, but earlier in the game, Atkins hit a HR that was called a double. He ended up not scoring. The Holliday play should have never even happened.
