I recognize that UGA is garbage but they definitely have more depth than us (hard not too) and we are still up one at the half. Anyone still doubting if Ray can coach and build a hard *** working team needs to watch a game. It is definitely time to give the guy our support. I am really hoping that the way the team is playing right now helps him on the recruiting trail.

Who was it the commentators said lost 25 to 30 lbs since the beginning of the fall semester? I didn't catch it.

He said Ware lost 20 lbs since August. Not sure if true, but I do remember him showing up out of shape.

I have to disagree a little with you there...

We are playing hard, there is no doubt. CP and their euro are beating us BAD. Georgia is scheming to make sure 42 has a chance to get rebounds and second chances, and if we continue to leave CP wide open around the arc, we won't have a prayer. Georgia is scheming to their strengths and playing very hard (the only time this year they will play this hard will be against us... they are picking up right where they left off last year). They are also getting to the line A LOT, and that's a concern in the second half. Our points have really come on some contested 3 pointers, a few transition chances, and a few good looks... I'll take being up, though, but I hate Georgia for only getting up to play us and everyone else, playing hard enough to beat our local JV girls team.

I should have been a bit more clear. I am not saying we are the best coached team out there from a scheme standpoint but I also think it is pretty hard to blame that completely on Ray when we barely have enough guys to practice. With more healthy guys on the floor I think he would be able to implement a stronger scheme plus he would be able to bench someone's *** for not following through, like keeping CP from getting the ball. CP is no doubt killing us today.

I still say that a significant part of coaching is building team chemistry and getting all you can out of your team. Ray has that part of the equation under control. I am hoping the rest will come when we have more bodies and some quality recruiting.

Caldwell-Pope has not scored since 6:30 left in the first half. That is OVER half the basketball game. Huge, HUGE adjustment by Ray and co. That's the same player that daggered Stans in Starkville last year all game -- with no answer

Ray has show the ability to make adjustments in game, for sure. I'm not used to it and it is a pleasant surprise. I wish there was a way we coudl adjust out of getting called so much for fouls, but I don't blame him for taking his chances staying aggressive, because it's the only way we can stay in the game.

We may not be playing all that smart at times, but that is not all on the coach since we are loaded with freshmen.

unfortunately the fouls may get worse as the season progresses

these guys are going to be completely exhausted come late february. I expect it will make them hell on wheels next season when they have more rest during games.
