Was listening to start of last week's game vs. Kentucky while driving home from work. Starting lineups for the Wildcats were being introduced in Rupp. In the background you could hear the PA announcer say the name of a starter, followed by what sounded like the report of fireworks.
Jack (as usual): "The house lights have been turned down, as is now customary in most arenas, while the starters for the home team are introduced."
[firework noise]
Jim: "This is first time I've seen indoor fireworks at a basketball game."
Jack: "This is my first time also to experience fireworks indoors. The smoke has filled the upper reaches of Rupp Arena, and you have to think that the fire marshal would not look favorably upon this spectacle that is filling the upper reaches of this vast facility with smoke...<span style="text-decoration: underline;">but don't you dare light a cigarette in here!"</span>
