College football needs more guys with this attitude

Wish we had that guy for another year but understand him going. Just a great find all-around. I guess we got really lucky when Berger decided to go elsewhere.
wow my bad if he didn't. I coulda sworn I saw that. OK, in this case glad to be wrong!Did he declare for the draft?
Hopefully KM returns. If not we need Brown to regain his form he had in ‘22. If this fails we are screwed relying on GW for a passing attack. If he was returning to Rutgers for his final year there wouldn't even be a question about his playing in the bowl game. I just hope he's gonna try for the NFL instead of using the portal for a big payday at some other school.
What is RU supposed to do for offense without him next Fall ?
Exactly. He did not say he was definitely playing and hasn't done so since, unless I missed something.Love the quote but he said that after the UMD game. You can't rule out the possibility that influencers have since changed his mind.
I certainly understand the sentiment, but I Benjamin showed some flashes of potential.Hopefully KM returns. If not we need Brown to regain his form he had in ‘22. If this fails we are screwed relying on GW for a passing attack.
It's funny....before he got hurt Sam was easily the best running back in the program. Little did I know that when he went down his replacement would proceed to lead the league in rushing and pretty much BE the RU offense. And establish himself as one of the best running backs in college football.Hopefully KM returns. If not we need Brown to regain his form he had in ‘22. We entered this season wondering what we would do if Brown couldn't play. Things sometimes have a way of working out. It's funny....before he got hurt Sam was easily the best running back in the program. Now I don't know what RU is supposed to do if KM doesn't return.
From what it sounds like Brown should be good to go by spring, at the same level we saw him in 2022, so I’m pretty sure we’re good to go at running back.We entered this season wondering what we would do if Brown couldn't play. Things sometimes have a way of working out.
ThisHe hasn’t declared, he hasn’t entered the portal, he hasn’t said anything since that quote. That is a very telling quote, in my humble opinion, so I have a feeling we see him out there on game day. May also end up depending on the weather and field conditions.
Respectfully disagree. Sam had a great game against Indiana. Everyone just thought he could do that every game. It's funny....before he got hurt Sam was easily the best running back in the program. Little did I know that when he went down his replacement would proceed to lead the league in rushing and pretty much BE the RU offense. Right now Kyle is projected as the #37 ranked RB in the Draft. Again this just one rating service. If this rating is consistent with others he might be better served coming for one more year and raising his stock. He needs to work on the catch and then burst after the catch out of the backfield. Otherwise he’s a 1st and 2nd down-only small fullback at best in the NFL. Brian Leonard excelled at being smooth catching balls on the run…although pound for pound KM might be a little better than BL running between the tackles. I don’t think BL or KM are/were elite at blasting to the edge and that’s not usually asked of a RB anyway. Rice did have edge burst-ability and defenders couldn’t arm tackle him.
Does KM need to declare for the draft before the bowl game? Might want to play and see if he gets hurt. Forgot which Rutgers guy declared then got hurt and was denied a chance to come back.He hasn’t declared, he hasn’t entered the portal, he hasn’t said anything since that quote. I know once you sign with an agent you can't play; as far as declaring, typically, you don't play either if doing so ahead of time.Does KM need to declare for the draft before the bowl game? Might want to play and see if he gets hurt. Forgot which Rutgers guy declared then got hurt and was denied a chance to come back.
Do we think he is contemplating or waiting on a potential NIL deal?
Pass the ball downfield with a transfer portal quarterback. If he was returning to Rutgers for his final year there wouldn't even be a question about his playing in the bowl game. I just hope he's gonna try for the NFL instead of using the portal for a big payday at some other school.

Don’t forget portal OL that can pass protect.Pass the ball downfield with a transfer portal quarterback.
- portal WR'sDon’t forget portal OL that can pass protect.
No FB or HB?- portal WR's
- portal TE's who can block catch and run
I think that was LB Singleton before the Gator Bowl 3 years ago.Does KM need to declare for the draft before the bowl game? Might want to play and see if he gets hurt. Forgot which Rutgers guy declared then got hurt and was denied a chance to come back.
