How do you take a Great coach with bunches of years of experience and demote him from a DC (which is the main reason why Gretna is 7-1)to a offensive line coach and you have someone that knows Nothing about football now gonna be the new DC???

I don't know, but maybe the bigger reason that they're 7-1 is that the combined record of the 7 opponents that they've beaten is just 13-37. The best win of the bunch is a 6 point home victory over 4-3 Nottoway.

Gretna's defense has been greatly improved this season, but yes the schedule hasn't been very tough. This is no time to change DCs, if in fact this happened.

And who is your best win over? 1-6 Patrick Co? 2-5 Tunstall? 2-5 Chatham? Of the teams you've beaten, looks like a 5-16 record.

I agree with HR 6 the defense has been Greatly improved because of the New coach and I agree with you as well they have not played a tough schedule.

But who knows what's going on, heck they fired the Video cameraman 2 years, which had been filming for the better part of 22 years, and replaced him with a girl who probably had never seen 22 games.

Don't know where yall get this info but the players haven't heard nothing about this, even after this evening's practice. Same DC this evening.

This thread is about Gretna, so I don't really understand what my team has to do with it. My team is 3-4 because they've played teams like GW and Byrd. I just stated the obvious. There's no disputing that the Hawks are 7-1 because their schedule up to this point has been pretty weak. I guess we will see what they have this weekend.

Maybe it was because the video cameraman missed plays while texting game updates during the game or getting updates and missing plays, and B'burg I doubt it is because she's an Auburn fan.
