They will still get the required labor force and get the job done no doubt.
How?

The same way they always have forever before the illegal invasion intensified. Guest worker programs.
Do guest worker programs cost more or less to farmers to employee?
The program you want to google for your answer is H-2a

yep, I'm a douche, apparently. For asking: What's the plan?

Are you saying asking that question makes a US citizen a douche? Questioning our government is douchey? Remember, the internet is forever.
If you would like to start a new thread discussing douchness please feel free. Unless you are going to address the OP question, kindly leave.

No one knows how we are going to lower grocery prices, while deporting the cheap, illegal, workforce.

You nailed it!

It's been answered ITT, you just didn't want to hear it. It's typical and our side is used to it. It's been happening for 8 years now.

And before you ask, NO. Figure it out yourself, It's in here.

I think it's fair to say that many of Trump's policies are inflationary in the short term. Logic suggests reducing cheap undocumented labor and replacing it with higher cost legal labor will raise prices. Tariffs would raise prices in the short term. Shifting production away from China and to the US or other non-adversarial countries will raise prices. RFKjr banning harmful additives in our food supply will raise prices.

That said, I don't really give a ****. I'm willing to pay more for stuff if we fix immigration, ditch our dependence on China, clean up our food supply, etc. I just don't see how you do those things while simultaneously lowering costs.

For the one millionth time - there will be legal labor to replace the illegal labor. Stop ignoring the answer.

There is no great epiphany here. It's very simple.

At the same labor cost?

1) There will always be a cost in defending your border. Nothing is free. You want a border, it's going to cost.

2) With the efficiencies made in distributing the labor to the correct places in a manner that does not overwhelm our school systems, does not overwhelm our healthcare systems ..... I would argue you could do it for a cost reduction.

I don't know why the guy answering honestly gives a **** about immigrants, or anything since he doesn't give a **** about prices to begin with.

Im all for not being as reliant on china, all for it. I totally supported the great work done by the present administration to bring chip manufacturing back to the states. Even at higher costs, we are talking about national security issues, with AI chips etc.
Tell me how tariffs on Mexico and Canada, are going to help us? How can we want good paying American jobs, but also blame people wanting good paying american jobs for the costs of things? Are we ever going to address the elephant in the room?

I just do not understand how paying to deport a bunch of people is going to benefit America. I have yet to hear a valid argument why we need to do this. Do we need better immigration policy? Well duh.

Spare us your concern on inflation

Your guys had the highest inflation in 50 years. 50 fvcking years. Inflation averaged 1.9% under Trump. Take a seat.

I'll bet $1,000 that inflation under Trumps 2nd term will be lower in his second term than it averaged during bidens term that just finished.

To avoid your whiny complaints, i will send the money in advance to a neutral third party. Let me know who wants to take the other side of the bet.

Easy bet considering Biden came in during a global pandemic. Do you ever try to be honest, or are you just a synchophant?

We suggested things from the Pandemic that altered Trumps presidency at the tail end and you people flipped over backward at the mere thought of that as an excuse.

Not from me. I literally said many times that comparing economic successes or failures are not really applicable since there was a once in a lifetime pandemic.

I criticized Trump's handling of the pandemic and his messaging which was all over the place. I also said many times that he deserves credit for Operation Warp Speed which saved thousands of lives

So you won't take the bet.

2% Is the stated goal of the fed.

Joe averaged 5%.

I bet the next term, Trump will average under 3% inlfation as reported by the BLS.gov

$1,000 prepaid to a neutral 3rd party. Care to take the bet? I've seen you post about how much money you make. Take the bet.

According to Democrats it was Obama's economy that took off under Trump and Obama gets credit for that. But as soon as Covid hit, Trump became responsible. And then any consequences of Covid belong to Trump and none to Biden. The mental gymnastics are amazing.

Well no **** after Joe has already gotten it below 3%, all Trump has to do is continue the current policies. But everything we know now tells us his plans are inflationary so you need to own it when prices go up.

Well, you are just being willfully ignorant. And you know it. You are a smart guy.

Millions under the age of 65 were needlessly forced to get the vax. Thousands died as a direct result. This is not disputable.

Good news is that that silliness ushered in RFK and we will get a fresh look at vaccines and pharma will become responsible for what they put in them.

I'll lower the standards for you. I'll put up $1,000 to your $250.

4-1 odds that inflation will average less than 3% under Trump.

Prepaid to a neutral 3rd party.

Lets see how serious your concern is. I think it's fake concern.

Thousands died as a result. Facts

We can be honest with ourselves.

Imagine being so naive as to think you gave a shot to millions of people and not one of them died as a result. Lol. We have a long way to go to wake some of you up.

Again, you cannot lower costs of groceries while also increasing the costs to farmers. If you don't realize that then you're almost to partisan to breathe.

Trump will average less than 3% inflation in his next term. This will far outperform Bidens 5%. And remember Bidens Inflationary BBB was thwarted by only one vote.

Democrats severely miscalculated “transitory” inflation. They would have hyperinflation if not saved by Manchin.

The people are wise to their ways. Inflation is theft. This is why they voted for DOGE. It was a mandate delivered by landslide and no matter how much we argue about it online, it’s coming.

It’s coming and it’s going to be sweeping reform. No one can be surprised because Elon and Vivek have told you exactly what’s coming. 300 federal depaetments are going to disappear. Drastic changes are coming and are desperately needed.

People like @firegiver , @yoshi121374 @dpic73 fail to realize is that DOGE will be massively deflationary.

For example; can anyone tell me what happened to the inflation rate in Argentina after Millei took office and slashed government spending?

Anyone care to post the before and after inflation number? Anyone?
