Guys, if we lose next Saturday I hope it's a blowout

there is no way the league is going to allow FL or AL to get beat in a close game. Amazing how 2 refs have to get together on the LSU interception before ANY call is made and then when it looks like the defender may have actually gotten BOTH feet down, the replay official allows the call on the field (which came about 5 seconds AFTER the play ended) to stand even though the video showed the toe going down in the field of play even on the right foot. To me it actually looked like the catch was made with the left foot in anyway regardless of what happened with the right. And again, Bama gets maybe 1 or 2 penalties for the entire game. Even when one AL defensive lineman pushes an LSU OL back into his QB by his facemask, alas, no call. My view is, unless we dominate next week, which is not likely to happen, we will get shafted big time by the zebras.

But no way do i want us to lose by a blowout this Saturday. Even if losing close hurts 'that much more'. We are expecting a sellout and possibly another record setting crowd with lots of recruits tuning into this game and being broadcasted primetime on ESPN or ESPN2. By no means do I want us to get thrashed by Bama. And I rather us lose close so that I can atleast think there was a chance.

I'm just greateful for us to have one more opportuninty to get an upset in before the year ends. Even if we do somehow play it down to the wire and the refs jab us aGAIN. It's the weeks like these where I am glad we are moving forward and continuing to remove the poo stain our program has been plagued with the past 8 years.

Playing a team like them close is a good sign for things to come. If Dan can do that with the mess Croom left, we're doing better than I thought we'd be. I'm not saying it's a moral victory, but losing by 30 is just as much of a loss and leaves more questions.

Our coaches, players, and staff work incredibly hard to prepare for games (particularly this one). We are on national television, so the image of our program will be on display.

The Bulldogs will have to play hard enough to beat Bama and the officials.

I sure as hell don't want our team to be blown out, so that I won't 'HURT' as much after the game.

Make it a close game. If there is a replay that we get screwed on, then more fuel for the fire.

If you lose, lose by 14 or something. The blowout breaks the spirit of players and coaches, and the overall faith that the program is improving.

Replaying screwings are football fan AIDS. You do NOT want that versus Bama, especially after UF.
