2015 Kentucky couldn't hang with any Championship team from the 90s...

YET, Pelphrey, Woods, Farmer, and Feldhaus (granted, with the help of Mashburn) took one of the ALL-TIME teams to the buzzer.

Nothing against our legends, BUT...

Normally, I would say Yay, but he'll probably have his buddy Kastle with him, and lord knows how your wife gets around that guy.

UNLV beat Ball State 69-67 during their title year in the Sweet 16.

Lol. I love Castle like an Uncle. she blew that way out of proportion like the does everything when she's drunk & mad at me.

$912, ugh. That's a LOT of money to pay to watch a 16 seed game then a session (Friday) I'll likely skip.

Basically paying $900 to watch Saturday's game.

- Chris Webber...so college basketball isn't as good b/c players don't stick around. Ummmm asshat, you left after 2 years, and most of your team (the good players) left after 3.

- WCS is a Junior btw. Why everyone forgets that boggles my mind. We have 4 freshmen in a rotation of 9. ONE AND DONE!!!!

- How many teams can claim 3 guys with 6 NCAAT games experience?

Exactly.

And will pay no telling HOW MUCH in Indy. Just trying to think ahead/balance a little bit here with *everything*. Energy, Alcohol, Tickets/$$$, time skipping work, etc, etc.

Pretty damn stressful really -- as if I needing anything else to worry about.

I doubt bbdk recalls even seeing me. Basically needed someone that was with him all day to translate for him at that point.

"Do you want to take a shot of fireball?"

"LAURNMYWIFE ISSICKSHESGONE"

"K. Lets just drink this shot"

Barely. I was within 15 minutes of my tipping point at that time.

To be fair, Within about an hour's time I received the following news Friday morning:

-Wife is sick, driving home for the weekend
-Free ticket to Friday's game from Willy
-Chad coming down

I mean, come on.

Felt like I had to capitalize, and did....which ended up ruining my Saturday/weekend.

The New York Times is all in on UK this year. They pump out multiple articles per week on us.

So are we supposed to start leaving crap out overnight on St. Patrick's Day now?

Only thing my kids get in the morning are the same shots of Jameson my parents gave me.

Don't see Tyus Jones shitting his pants because he's been freaking nails all year for that team. Frosh or not, he's been their most clutch player and it isn't even close.

But I could certainly buy someone like Quinn Cook getting nervously trigger happy in a tight ball game even though (because?!) he's a senior. People have lauded Cook all year for playing alongside Tyus Jones so well and accepting a different role but when it comes down to the nitty-gritty I can see him start to foolishly jack up quick shots, not looking inside for Okafor, not involving Winslow, etc...
Meh, maybe not. He's been nails in the big games. Big step up in the tourney/FF though. Hell, John Wall, who is basically the James Bond of basketball tightened up in the E8. FF, dome. I think he might at least shart a bit.

Pretty easy to tighten up shooting when you're already as broke as it gets, as Wall was.

Quinn Cook is the scary player to me. Man, he's been lights out...may finally catch up to him, but if it doesn't...Duke will be right there in the end.

Never seen arena security as lax as it was in Nashville for the SECT.

Tip: If you want to carry in two 5ths of bourbon, go right ahead.

Pretty wodie setup in Nashville how they let anyone enter the Club level and buy beer or whatever tho. You have to drink it in there, but makes for a nice headache-stalling move during halftime.

I thought Wall let the refs get into his head. He played frustrated most of the game.

I doubt any player from Duke has to worry about that scenario.

Not lost on this idiot is how much better our perimeter looks are becoming. Seems like we rarely attempt a 3 anymore unless our guys can virtually step into their shot. Impressive, really.

-Chase. I hope/think WS is setting up a dwolla account for it. If not a check is fine. PP threaten to freeze funds last year so we can't chance that again. She's just super busy(getting a massage) so she hasn't got around to it yet. Also if you see us in person you can give it to us.

@ Judd. that type of stuff is why people don't like her. Celebs kill me that get all pissy about stuff like that. If you don't want that life, don't. Go be a normal person. But if you're going to be in the spotlight, sitting court side at UK games, on TV, promoting movies, kissing Dicky V, etc... that stuff is going to come with it. It's a given. Turn off twitter or create an anonymous account.

Yup. It's b/c we basically force feed the post on 8 out of 10 poss.

Pick your poison.

The difference has been Karl's emergence as that seemingly automatic option.

Also I saw the texts from BBdk to his lass, and no it wasn't blown out of proportion he was in super duper wasted BBdk mode, most of you know what that looks like and this was NOLA wasted on top of that, and he was convinced Castle was moving in. Pretty hilarious.

No, I was super annoyed, hammered, and ready to leave & get food...and she wouldn't shut up or end her conversation. So I dropped a "have fun touching Castle, I'm out" text, and left. Would have been the same text/different name no matter who she was talking to at that point, had nothing to do with him in particular. I was just being a drunk dickhead, had no recollection of it in the morning.

Biggest difference in our team on offense. We were lacking a reliable option on the block until Towns turned into a junior Alcindor about a month ago.

He's also become a GREAT passer out of those situations, when early in the year he was a black hole/force everything guy...almost to the point you could sense the guys didn't even wanna feed him sometimes.

He went from 0-100 real quick, basically all-around, and it's completely changed our offense.

The margin of error with this group is so wide. Someone mentioned it this
morning about Towns and Andrew getting 2 quick ones in the 1st half and still going up 16 at the break. Essentially are two best offensive players for the last month sitting the pine, Arkansas playing a solid half of ball and we're up double digits plus.

This can't be emphasized enough. He almost always makes the right decision when he gets doubled now.

Towns also shooting a cool 90% from the line the past 13 games. Ha. 7 foot.

WCS and Johnson have improved but the the others are great shooters. Another reason I don't see a choke job. We've hit our fts in crunch time. Including the big guys.

RE: Stafford's fiancee...isnt that his college sweetheart, and the 1st thing he did after signing with the Lions & getting his bonus check was to buy her a new set of D's?

So proud and fun to watch WCS grow up over these 3 years. Kid went from chasing butterflies to being legit pissed of being passed over for SEC POTY....and proceeded to kick ace for 3 straight games to prove those who voted for Portis wrong.

Get back in your GD bed, Ohio riv. 1500 downtown parking slots are now under water. I blame Cincy.

Normally, I'd make fun of you for being the Watterson Expressway homer that you are, but I did hear that UC fans were dumping buckets of water in the might Ohio to try to keep those parking spaces flooded in case they have to play us on Saturday.
