- Was smiling walking around downtown at lunch listening to Cal on that podcast. I guess the most interesting things I heard were:

  • It doesn't sound like he's sold on a 3-guard lineup necessarily. Guess that means he expects Mulder/Matthews to really challenge Briscoe.
  • Sounds very optimistic about this recruiting class.
  • Looks like Big Karl is his new big sell to recruits.
- Have always thought Ed Helms was overrated. Andy Bernard may not have even been a Top 10 character on The Office.

- I can't even the imagine the talent on campus at the College of Charleston. :pimp:

Manwich is absolutely disgusting. I immediately think less of any person that likes sloppy joes.

If I make the kids nuggets, there is a 100000000% chance I'm making an extra for myself. Oven only though, I don't mess with the soggy microwave ********.

As far as hot dogs, when the kids want them, I'll typically grill some mets for myself, but there's a huge chance I'll eat a regular low brow poor man hot dog as well.

Wickles = :100points:

Sloppy Joes are a staple for Beavis iirc.

I liked them as a kid...probably haven't had one in 28 years tho.

Can't believe boiled hot dogs are even an option for people. Just the thought of having to pop the tough outer layer with your teeth only to get a full 140 degree shot of warm meat water makes me sick to my stomach.

Per usual, BBDK nails it. Two acceptable times for hot dogs, golf and a ball game.

I have a pretty low "ceiling" for good food and don't mind eating the same thing every day.

I'm a big Myers-Briggs guy and it fits with my personality type, the INTJ.

We actually have pretty wodie All Beef Dogs at the bar...get one at least every 3rd round. Squirt of Sriacha down one side, Squirt of Mustard down the other. Profit.

If you must eat a hot dog, at least eat a premium 100% All Beef one, not a little mystery meat weiner for the poors. And if you boil it, please die.

Shocker that ***** Rax loves Oscar Meyer hotdogs. [laughing] What a F Boy.

Lengua is great, will get one now and then at a worthy taqueria.

If you gave somebody a good one and didn't tell them, they wouldn't know the difference. Apparently pretty difficult to get the right texture though (I've had a few chewy ones), I'd certainly never buy a cow tongue and do it myself.

The Japanese love the beef tongue. I've had several times at the Yakiniku joints and its not bad. Also its the only time I have had wagyu beef because its so expensive over there. You can get the small strips but its still expensive.

Feel like I am closing the gap on what will ultimately be looked back on as my "best years". Turned 27 a few months back.

UK was a blast, but 25-27 have just been crush years. Still crush the bar scene but in a slightly more responsible way, traveling to Gulf Shores, Costa Rica, and Belize to round out the year with a random group of peeps, and the last girl I waxed was a 21 year old Kappa Delta.

Post college has been better than college. Girls are touching magnets to anybody 25-32 who actually have their **** together, have earned income >$24,500 per year, and go to the gym. It's that simple really.

I realize most of you are probably outside that window, but I am sure there are plenty of stories.

The sushi and sashimi are melt in your mouth fresh. Everything is small plate style and shared which I really like. Tempura is a probably their most unfoody dish and at most of my american colleagues will only eat that. The noodle shops for Udon and Soba are my favorite. The best meal I every had there was a Kobe beef tenderloin cooked Japanese steak house style. That was on my first trip and the only time I have seen the Japanese steak house experience over there in 9 trips.

I hated sushi/sashima or thought I did but on my 2nd trip I developed a taste for it and love it now.

However you have to beware of when you ask what a dish is and they have no way to translate it into english. The worst is squid intestines. This is a delicacy served with Saki. Its awful. I don't really like Sake but had to down some to get the taste out of my mouth.

Chad... The talent was high level but the ratio was completely outrageous.

The odds were always in your favor.

Summer year going into my Senior year did a Maymester. Somehow pulled this one over my parents. One class that was supposed to be 9-12 but the professor let us out each day at 11:00. Was on the beach by noon each day with a cooler. That month I made it out almost every single night bc different places had different drink specials, depending on the night. So much fun. Wish I could go back to that age and period in my life for one day/night.
