I'm also completely exhausted, lost al little enthusiasm today. Hoping for one last burst, only halfway through trip. :eyes::gun:
So you're there til Thursday? That's a long *** time in Vegas. My inaugural trip was 7 days for College Senior Spring Break. That was dumb to go for that long. :zzz:eek:_O

We've been over it many times in GYERO. 2-3 days is plenty. How are you gonna manage to be crunk for Florida on Saturday?

Well.....I saw all the hype for BCS and figured I'd try this one from the beginning. Tried and thought it was great and continued to watch. Didn't want to take the time to watch BB at that time.

Same here. Not sure how to feel about beating USC. Like it was some sort of dream. In my mind I still think that Westry Marty Moored that interceptions. I mean that is what usually happens.

Think this comment has been made before but it bears repeating, I'm pretty sure we are the only fanbase in the country upon seeing a player get an interception, we immediately yell for him to go down to the ground.

We are also the only fanbase in the entire country that immediately realizes a starting quarterback getting knocked out of the game is terrible, terrible news.

4 days is the magic number for me in Vegas, though admittedly my trips are more laid back than the Schems and Doc Boats of the world. Spend a couple of mornings/afternoons golfing at TPC, Paiute, Badlands, etc., an afternoon or two at the pool, late night gambol for a few hours each night after the wife calls it quits @ 10pm. Rinse/repeat.

Simpleton question: How much, ballpark, should I be looking to pay for 2 adults and 2 kids plane tickets to Orlando from Louisville or Nashville? Again, just needing a ballpark. It looks like using Southwest's current deal I could get them for $1,234.00 (round trip), but they're non-refundable, so if one of us catches AIDS and can't go, we're effed.

$300-350 seems about right for SW. Do you have to pay extra for luggage at that rate?
No. First and second bags fly free...with obvious limitations.

I basically never fly, so I really don't have a clue what I should expect to be paying, or what should be a good deal.

Allegiant flies from LEX to Sanford on the cheap if you would like to fly with the poors and dates are flexible.

Depending on the dates you're looking at, schedule flexibility, etc. $300 pp doesn't seem that bad. Quick glance at Kayak showed some fares around $250 pp next month, but that's usually for mid-week travel or some similar restriction.

Good thing about SWA is you wouldn't incur bag fees. Plus, while the tickets are non-refundable, SWA will let you cancel and retain the ticket value as a voucher/credit, good for up to one year from date you initially booked I believe.

Check Frontier out of Cincy, they have non-stop round-trip flights starting at $138 depending on the days. Use Orbitz to check multiple airlines' pricing, and you can check them for lowest pricing over a three day window for both legs.

I believe Allegiant also has a flight from Owensboro to Sanford, FL as well. I'm sure the tickets would be cheaper, but literally everything else has some type of fee, so just do your research before booking.

3/4 is absolute max and typically by 4 I'm hiding out in the room avoiding the Beans. Damn I love the first 48 hours there though.

Should I expect to be able book the flights at this amount around 6 weeks out from when we are leaving, or should I book them now with very little hope of finding them cheaper?

Really depends on when your're looking to travel and your risk tolerance. If you're looking at over Christmas or something, I'd think there's a much greater likelihood of fares increasing rather than dropping. But if you're looking at next summer, then I personally wouldn't book now.

Its' February 13th - 19th. And I'm pretty risk averse for this trip. Disney is already booked for that time period.

My excitement for the credit card rewards game is out of control. Like there aren't many left for me to get. Anytime I see someone going to pay with a basic credit or god forbid a debit card...smh.

Agree on Vegas, 3/4 maxx unless you are there for work and can chill in the middle, but even then, its getting harder to push through at the end. Not sure I could handle Vegas with Beans more than two days.

Today was gorgeous, had fun driving around with the top down. Might pick up that HK VP9 pistol, so tempting. Better take out another card.

Golf tourney tomorrow, Tampa for 3 days, gonna be talking some smack down there. Pumped for Saturday.

Three nights max in Vegas. 2 years ago, I went out there on a Friday night with the wife, then I had a conference Monday-Wednesday, so wife left Monday and I had an additional 2 days/ Total of 5 nights plus a half day Wednesday. My immune system up and quit on me that Thursday morning, and I couldn't get out of bed. Was barely alive for a week.

Never again (until I forget all about that happening).

bbdk claiming to be up $200 is definitely false. Not saying you are lying either. But anyone who has been to Vegas knows there are always some "accounting errors". He has either forgotten about $500 that are stuck in his jeans somewhere or more likely, he was too drunk to remember about $500 in ATM withdrawals late night. Actually, the most likely scenario is that he doesn't remember pulling about $500 from the ATM AND has about $500 sitting in his pants pocket somewhere.

I've got a New Orleans bachelor party coming up Oct 1-4 (Thurs-Sun).

:flushed:

Really not equipped for that type of run anymore but I'm going to give it a shot. All I can do, I guess. Going to need some puppies.

I honestly prefer the Nola bachelor party to Vegas these days. Can be done for a fraction of the cost.

I'm 1-2 on NOLA bach parties. First one was unreal, one of the best bachelor parties I've ever been to. Second one was actually fairly lame.

Oh, I just rememebered, the second trip was with a bunch of Vandy med school doctors. That's why it was so lame. That crew was terrible.

Nah. I'm up $200 on gambol. Well, not now.

Withdrew $200 when I arrived, Have $377 in my wallet now. That includes a few "first drinks" before freebies, and random tips. So, actually a bit better than that on pure GAMBOL. Pretty simple math, everything else has been on a CC.

Not sure what's so outrageous about being up $180. OMG. Doubt it lasts, but that's the current situation.

Welp.. Sounds like Potsy's Big Blue Wonderland Band or whatever was a one shot deal. We get JD Shelburne and some other honky this Saturday for a pregame concert.
