Sounds like Willis balled lol. His name didn't even appear a single time, while EJ even got several mentions.

Constantly have my earbuds in whenever I'm out and about, pretty standard in NYC. Not really any different than having the radio on in your car, since I'm usually on my daily commute or running errands. Always podcasts, never music unless I'm running/biking.

Pretty much always have headphones on while traveling on plane. Part of its to listen to whatever, not talk to people, or listen to screaming babies. Works for me. Used to rock Shure, these days just Klipsch.

My wife's grandmother is basically the grandmother from Wedding Crashers. Today while telling a story about working as a switchboard operator she just casually drops that her office was next door to the whorehouse.

The douchebag next to me last week was flipping out because his giant suitcase didn't fit in the overhead bin. After he tries to get his *** beat by the guy telling him to calm down and stop being rude, he thinks I'm going to listen to his whining for the rest of the flight. False.

20 mins left in the flight and they come over the speaker, he leans over to tell me about the travel edition that his bag is and I seriously wanted to force myself to vomit on him. Ear-budded that ***** the entire flight.

I'm going to make this routine since it upsets BBDK, fits my ******* nature and to be honest, I love enraging people.

* See no problems with wearing ear buds while running errands. As long as you don't have actual ear phones on or the exercise type with the stupid *** halo around your neck, I see no issues.

* Big thanks to anyone on here that contributed in anyway to Bike to Beat Cancer. Our team should wrap up with over $95k in donations, up almost 50% from last year. Pretty cool how that little deal has grown from a small fundraiser into a half-million dollar generating deal for Norton's Cancer group.

* Cool story of the day was this random older guy tagging along with me and pops for the last thirty miles. Dude not only held his own but actually pushed our pace up a lot. I knew he was older but at the finish he tells us that he is 70. Guy was just excited as hell about the whole deal and wanted to introduce us to his family and friends. Awesome fella who's wife had passed away in the past year from cancer and wanted to do the ride but didn't know many folks out there.

* Not too terribly disappointed in the loss. Outside of defense coming up big when they had to, we played poorly. Towles played as he has all season and mostly how he did last season. Both of our offensive tackles aren't at the SEC level. I think George and Meadows will get there, but Swindle is flat horrible. Towles doesn't help matters by not being very aware when a pocket starts to collapse either.

Am impressed with how well our DBs are developing. They are put in bad situations by us having to use extra guys to create pressure and have done remarkably well this season. The Florida receivers came up with some massive catches to keep several drives alive, but all in all, a great effort on their part.

* I do think we notch a W this week with Mizzou and we should be 4-1 heading into the Auburn game.

Who stole MCF's login?

This is the worst Florida team that I have seen come to CWS. Probably the worst team since the year before Spurrier took over. It was a huge missed opportunity. If you get those opportunities to make a statement and go the next step then you have to take them. Ole Miss has done that. This was a failure plain and simple. We may win this week and be 4-1 headed to Auburn but like in 2007 when we should have gone to Atlanta but puked against Mississippi State, I really fear this one is going to haunt.

Weekend randoms:

I know people are talking about the Cat Walk and the great crowd attendance, but I sure as hell didn't feel the energy around the stadium...I can get some people might have been waiting out the "rain, " but it was nothing like the opener. Something just felt off all day. Not much of a crowd for the concerts, which I think is a shame.

Had a blast at the Schems-that gator etouffee was on point. Sloot was very nice, didn't yell at anyone:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Always a pleasure to see the crew. Appreciate the hospitality.

TMFH tailgate was great too, had a guy playing guitar that was very good. Nice to see Kgar.

Got to watch the game on the sidelines. Pretty cool experience...had the offense shown up would have been unreal. Baker dropped that touchdown about 10ft in front of me...Maurice Clarrett is jacked, can't imagine wanting to tackle that.

Will have my game face back on for Mizzou, teams needs to bounce back.

I think people are over-estimating how good we are. We have a lot of good components, but we also have a lot of mediocre guys plugged into the most important positions on the field. And the good guys that we do have are young and prone to dumbassery (ie Dorian Baker).

Patrick Towles... average. Jordan Swindle... way below average. Khalid Henderson, Josh Forrest and Jabari Johnson... below average.

.

Agree, was kinda weird at the tailgate too for some reason. Went over to Uncle Ben's tailgate, which I usually only do for 20 minutes...2 hours+ and he had pretty much killed me before the game even started. Pretty much went straight to bed post-game.

-The stadium is so dope at night, though. Man. That 1st & goal from the 2...[eyeroll]

-Never had B&T, but that Etouffee was unreal, maybe the best I've ever had. Tailgate spread was 10/10.

-Wodie Dateline on the Clinton Prison Escape with all the details. That **** is something out of a movie, pretty much exactly Shawshank, just incredible.

-Starting to feel like Fall. Hurry up, please.

-George is such a good baby. Now been around him multiple times, entire days, and I don't think I've ever heard him cry or throw a fit. Same for Little Ben & Maddox. Impressive.

-Still at zero snaps of the NFL watched.

I think my favorite part of every tailgate is Ms. Richie's new Richie story that she shares with me. The way she tells them just slays me.

The latest gem was him getting kicked out of Jim Porter's one time for dancing with a black prostitute after her pimp demanded money and he refused to pay. [laughing]

If Towles struggles against Mizzou, think the stuff will finally plug Barker in.

JRow nailed my sentiment pretty well because once you go to Barker and he hits a couple passes and gets the ppl going, we will see the point of no return for Towles... so I think the staff is in a difficult situation re: patience for Towles and that window of opportunity to win some effing games.

How much of that is on the O-Line and Dawson? Tough to say exactly as they have more than their fair share of blame but it's crystal clear at this point kid has poor pocket awareness and lacks a true 'feel' for the position. I could handle some of the inaccuracy if he was a gamer, made the right reads, avoided sacks, etc.... but he just doesn't have 'it' to be QB in an offensive system predicated on quick reads and accuracy.

- WHERE IS THE EFFING TIGHT END? Madness. Please don't give me this **** about how well Conrad is blocking in that multiple back set... I don't care. Our happy feet QB needs a release valve when we run these longass-developing pass plays and we haven't used it once. If our tackles are going to be vaporized off the edge we have to have an option available to get the ball out of his hands ASAP.

its amazingly ignorant to label every potentially above average offense as "air raid." completely desperate, too. this offense looks absolutely NOTHING like the original tim couch version.

sounds cool, though.

Completely agree.

I love Mrs/Dr Richie. Always try to catch up with her. Had a nice discussion about the salmon shorts and UK pants.

-Weak CFB slate this week. UCLA at Arizona is the Gameday game? Okay. And LSU is at Syracuse, which is one of the stranger non-conference games I've ever seen scheduled by an elite SEC program.

-Reality check on Grove Street this week. Hate the loss, but was probably coming sooner or later. Cats by10 on Saturday. Chip on shoulder, etc.

-Wolken's "Misery Index" is my favorite CFB weekly column. Enjoy it almost as much as "King's Court" during basketball season.

-You don't realize how annoying "Fantasy Guy" is until you're no longer in a fantasy league yourself.

* Finally got unfollowed by the UK Football account. I'm guessing it was the "Kentucky ***** the bed" reference. Or pointing out that Dorian Baker sucks.

* Curious to see what kind of crowd shows up Saturday. I assume it won't be a sellout, given the whole "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 29 times in a row, shame on me" thing.

And what's up with all the damned grown *** men from Florida wearing jerseys? Looked like a Big Ten or NFL fan base.

Florida is basically Ohio with more mosquitoes & humidity.

TE is merely a theoretical component of the coaching staff's collective id at this point. A comforting thought, a moment of optimism in the ether- but nothing tangible.

Think Saturday night will be another great crowd. Night games are a hoot and we're still 2-1 with a chance to be 4-1 before Auburn. Mizzou was just went from extremely important to absolutely crucial. If they dickfinger that one away fan base will be super redass. Especially with the way these gaffots looked against UCOON.

Just hope I can get out of the orange lot in time for Sunday brunch, though. Good job, UK police!

Our tackles were abused on Saturday, but Towles simply stepping up in the pocket could've helped avoid half of those sacks. Trying to outrun Florida's DEs sure as **** didn't work, I know that much.

Also C.J. Conrad marcus be Bill Brasky. I've heard tales about him, but I'm not sure he really exists.

Need a Towles breakdown from Killa. That's his Harrison, and he's looking pretty good on that old take...

-What's up with them not letting Boom's dad do his thing? They were talking about it on Sunday Morning Sports Talk on the way home...that's weak AF.

Love that show, btw. Plug in IHeartRadio, makes the brutal drive back a little easier every Sunday morning.
