Along those same lines, nearly every time Ulis had a great game last year, Cal would basically give Andrew a verbal reach around in the post game press conference.

Pretty cool of the NCAA and SMU to allow this to come down about a week after it's impossible for current players to transfer. All about the students!!

Goodman is having a dorkgasm over the Larry Brown stuff, I assume b/c of Cal. Can only imagine that's what Forde is doing(I'm blocked from him, don't remember what I said).

Always been a big Harrisons supporter. Pretty amazing run they had to be honest...

68-12 as Starters. 85% winning percentage. 2 Final Fours. 1 Runner-Up. Aaron Harrison 979 Points, 64th Career. Andrew Harrison 798 Points, 87th Career and 298 Assists, 16th Career.

The Wisconsin game is what it is. We didn't come through. Let it be, and the Harrisons as well.

Never seen a game there but Roy Kidd Stadium couldn't be any more wack imo. Always bothered me.

Can you imagine trying to get a bunch of CBB players to do that these days? "Hey, gang - we just need you all to jump up in the air at the same time with some goofy, honkesque grins on your faces! Can you dig that, cats?"

Yup, add Rudy Macklin to that list of great basketball players from Louisville. For about a 30 year period, there was some serious talent in these parts.

Mike Silliman
Wes Unseld
Mike Redd
Ron King
Wesley Cox
Darrell Griffith
Rudy Macklin
Jeff Lamp
Lee Raker
Jerry Eaves
Manuel Forrest
Winston Bennett
Tony Kimbro
Felton Spencer
Herbert Crook
Allan Houston
Mark Bell
Dwayne Morton
Dejuan Wheat
Jason Osborne
Scott Padgett
Derek Anderson

Pretty solid list there. Hard to believe it just fell off a cliff in the past 20 years.

-I've never even seen EKU's campus. Was always "coming down next weekend to party" with my HS buddies but never actually made it. Sounds pretty awful so glad I didn't.

-Just saw the National Rifle Team Rankings and only Air Force in the top 10. Hopefully Jacksonville St and UK are ready when China invades.

-Watched Hitlers last 11 months last night. Brutal stuff but the footage is the highest quality I've seen from that war. Mostly color.

-To do list is longer than when I started the morning. :grimace:

In the 1970s, 4 Kentucky Mr. Basketballs were 1st Round NBA Draft Picks. In the 1960s and 1980s, 3 Kentucky Mr. Basketballs, respectively, were 1st Round NBA Draft Picks.

Since 1991, there has only been 1 Kentucky Mr. Basketball even drafted into the NBA, Darius Miller.

Kind of sad, really.

It's awful now, but it most certainly wasn't 'awful' as an underage college kid for a random shady kinda night.

Only went 2-3 times, but It was guaranteed fun & success. #Dorkas

I believe we would have put a crazy beat down on EKU but the players death most likely will temper any bad feelings.

- loving all the football news and rumors today.

What happened is most of the best athletes in Louisville are now playing football, which is a smart decision.

You can be an outstanding athlete at 6'4" 215 lbs in high school. That kid is playing center/forward at the hs level. He better be able to play guard if he wants to play major D 1 college basketball. If that athlete plays football and develops into his frame/works hard he has a much brighter future in football.

Look at Jermaine Brown ( Griff's kid) at Fairdale in the early 90's. 6'3" 200 lbs and was an unreal high school football player that could've gone to any college he wanted.

He was in love with basketball and signed a scholarship with Tennessee. He really struggled because he was a tweener... Not big enough to play forward and not skilled enough to play guard.

Fast forward so many years and you have a Michael Bush that was a great multi sport athlete. He could've played college bball but wouldn't have played high major. That kid makes the right decision in football and played on Sundays for a few years.

Look at all of the Jefferson County kids in the last 15 years or so that had solid to great college football careers and played some in the NFL.... Corey Peters, Gary Williams, Burton, Bush, Alfonso Smith, Myron Prior and there's others I'm missing that played for other colleges besides UK and UL.

Richie won in OT. Thought I had him after he threw up a 4 or 5 out of 10. Then I threw up a 3.

And yes the rims weren't the best.

More of an indictment of Mr. Basketball as an award, really. Not like it's merit based at all.

Basically, don't be from the city of Louisville and commit to UK --> MR. BASKETBALL

I have no tolerance for sucker-punchers. If you can't square up and fight someone, then keep your hands to yourself. Scum of the Earth, really.
Actually the first time I've watched the footage. Pretty hard to justify Baker and Dubose not doing something. ****, they didn't even help him up. I get not fighting with the guys if they're pissed at being there but help the dude up.

Regardless, don't do anything stupid but of course you roll those motherf*ckers on Saturday. Just don't get knocked out for Auburn.

Top 1 or 2 Finish in Punt, Football Throw, HR Derby, and Closest to the Pin tho...basically dominated the "skill" events, as to be expected. A normal FT day, and it would've been an Anthony Davis like performance. Might not have even had to participate in the "physical fitness" events.

Read on Twitter that UT is the only team without a WR with 100 receiving yards this season. TE has 126.

The older guys that actually played multiple team sports dominated the skills events. There is no doubt of that.
