A Gold, Silver and Bronze medal in 10 events. Performed awful in punt and pass which I thought I would place high in. So I'll take what I did and feel good about it.

I also know Anthony did chin-ups instead of pull-ups.

-I did the same thing everyone else did. When you can do a chin up or pull up let me know. Don't think I haven't noticed your screen name change. I'm giving you a little test run because I'm in a good mode, don't screw it up. Also, post less.

-Rich, Anth, Bonz, KGar all top 5's. The young guys dominated while you old fat asses waddled around and complained.

KGar was definitely not there. JWray was though. Rudd. Rob73. Boat. It was a good event. The sequel will never live up to the original. I think everyone could have been ripped on for something. My FTs. Willy's torn hammy. Anth's chin ups. Richie's push ups. Rob's golf shoes. Good times.

The Inaugural GYEROLYMPICS was in 2011.

Was a scorching hot day. 96 degrees or so with stifling humidity.

73 was redassed extreme about the double rims at Seneca.

Between not being able to decode Boom Williams' latest tweet and his experience at the BBM camp out in think Kyle Tucker is about to lose it today.

I was the only multiple event winner. I am still the only HR derby champ ever.

I pulled my hammy in the sprint or I may have won 3 events.

5 minutes after I pulled my hammy, it was time for the half mile run. Anth said I had to participate or I was DQ'd from the entire thing. And I cared.

I touching limped my *** around for a half mile so I wouldn't get DQ'd.

Why?

Because us old guys have pride.

Damn right. With all the trash talk I did beforehand I couldn't pull out after the skills events.

Fylm playing the guitar at the Nation:

[laughing] Dead on. I love FYLM but that was the most poorly timed -> turn off the music and jam out to Pearl Jam on acoustic guitar ever. Dan-O was like, "Anthony go turn the music up, what is this guy doing."

So I took a quick break from drooling over Sugar to go turn it back on.

I left as soon the unplugged session began. Always been a rule of mine. Random singing/music playing occurs, abort area immediately.

And to add to 73's list:

Wayne Golden
Tom Payne

Unsurprisingly, Hatin' *** Spurrier does not disappoint this week...

Missouri's offense is so unproven Kentucky might make it part of the state science curriculum.

Kentucky could end up first in the SEC East. Look at what other things Kentucky is first in and tell me not to cry in public.

[laughing]

- EKU/Richmond was a helluva time in college. Underage drinking completely ignored, hot slotes all over the place. Can't say I've ever had a bad time there.

- It's shocking Tyrann Mathieu has become such a good NFL player. I mean he was on weed! On weed! And it didnt ruin his life or football skills. Sometimes pro sports are so dumb.

- The GYEROlympics pull-up competition was a complete travesty.

Speaking of Bonzo, RIP Joe's Older than Dirt -- to close by October 31. Place has been around 78 years.

Had some good times in that interesting place back when we were friends.

Not a good year for old-school Louisville establishments.

Wait so the people are camping out for a spot to camp out for BBM tickets? Not for the actual tickets?

Pretty much. Drove by the other day and it looked like the pharmacy waiting line at the barbourville Walmart. Adam should go shoot at them for looking harder for madness tickets than they'd look for a job. #STOPTHEPOORS

On a serious note I doubt they have jobs to go to so might as well go live like a homeless for tickets to a basketball practice. Priorities.

I still feel like my Bar Days officially ended when AliveOne in Mt. Adams closed. A part of me died.

So, what I'm saying is- I feel you, BBdK.

I am definitely way too cool for tradition, diehard fandom and uncollared shirts at ballgames.

Avenue of Champions and Pheonix Park shared a lot of similarities when I walked through both yesterday.

Think I'm going to go back to college. Just move back in the dorms. Plenty of older dudes in class when I was there, heck we had a 30 year old dude pledge IIRC. Might as well.

joes was actually a great bar. lyndon is an interesting neighborhood. great combo of middle class and high society glenview types. and you would see the entire range at joes. great happy hour. suits, necks, slotes, bikers, you name it.

so sad.

I had a dream the other night I moved back into my college dorm. Only it wasn't like a cool Rodney Dangerfield movie- it was like I actually moved back in this weekend. Left my wife and kids at home for some reason and moved into a form with college freshmen. And they HATED me being there. Pretty crappy dream, actually.

So don't do that.

Yeah, Good call on MKG Geese. Sucked, and didn't get drafted.

Feel like people forget how awesome Teague was late. He was arguably the best PG in the nation by year-end, at least in terms of doing what his team needed. Dennis nailed that one.

I did nail it. Said he was the weak link (he was), a bit of a headcase (he was) and needed to get better for us to win a title (he did, and we did). His NBA career has only continued to prove me right (and you wrong) about his true abilities, which you were slurping. Glad he turned it around a bit towards the end of the year though, go Cats!.

Love the ridiculous "best PG" comment followed by the qualifier rendering the whole statement meaningless. Typical bbdk. Cats probably lose to IU with Burke, Lillard or Marshall at PG!

I mean I went there because I visited one Thursday night and it was awesome. Not saying I had my priorities straight at the time. I loved my time there. It was cheap and hasn't hurt my career. Its the best place to go in the region to be a teacher, occupational therapist, cop or fire dork.

marquis teague was great at doing what the team needed -- lay low, don't screw up, and let all the other all Americans, lottery picks, and future nba mega millionaire superstars around him dominate.

he probably did that, give or take, better than anyone. arguably, more or less.
