GTFO & DIAF

This is why white people can't have anything nice smh
I've always wondered how videos like this get made. Does YouTube pay for the Most Cheesedick video of the year or something? Just, why take the time?

This and Elf on the Shelf are why you Marrieds need to strengthen your pimphand, gents.

Elf on the Shelf is great. Really snaps the kids in line for a month or so.

It's the Henbook moms that make it "funny" that ruin it, and everything, really. Henbook moms probably invented manbuns and skinny jeans and UKs offensive line, honestly.

Elf on the Shelf is kind of awesome. A month-long, dead-eyed threat towards your children.
Could probably extend some other variation of the elf into a year long monitoring device... maybe a statue of a small black man called Leonard. Leonard on the Shelf.

"Oh ok, you stupid kid- you wanna piss off Leonard on the Shelf? Be my f***ing guest"

Enlightening view of Louisville's non-conference schedule [laughing]

Samford - 282nd - W
Hartford - 301st - W
North Florida - 111th - W
Saint Francis Brooklyn - 250th - TBD
Saint Louis - 133rd - TBD
@ Michigan State - 14th - LOSS
Grand Canyon - 207th - TBD
Eastern Michigan - 155th - TBD
Kennesaw State - 336th - TBD
Western Kentucky - 199th - TBD
Missouri Kansas City - 296th - TBD
Utah Valley - 332nd - TBD
@ Kentucky - 1st - LOSS

Even though they will have played MSU - the step up in competition from their previous 6 games to UK is going to be brutal. UK will have played Duke, UCLA, AZ state, and OSU, and already slapped around the toughest team of those 5. Plus they are jamming 3 games into the 7 days before the UK game. At Rupp, Whoregate signs, Dennis Reynolds in attendance. Going to be a great day to be a Wildcat fan.

Already decided we're telling our daughter that Elf on the Shelf isn't real and her friend's parents are lying. I'm not dealing with that nonsense.

As long as you throw Santa under the bus too, I see no problem. Why should your kids be thanking some made up fat dude in a red suit, when YOU are the one buying (and assembling) all the toys.

Don't think Santa needs to be disrobed so early. Elf on the Shelf has a loooong ways to go before it gets that type of 4th wall.

That's cute.

I mean, it's complete and utter ********, but cute you think that way. Really.

Don't really remember much before I was around 5-6 years old, but I pretty much was adamant about assembling my toys from there on out. Actually would get pissy about it.

Pinky and Carlo are going to tell Santa that you're acting like a spoiled little *****

>>>>

Regular pain in the *** discipline.

The Facebook **** can get pumped, but if you can't instill a supernatural threat in your toddler to obtain obedience, well then...f*ck you.

Hey sweetheart see that giant bunny over there handing out candy to all the kids, yeah he is a Louisville fan named Doug, with an inferiority complex, who cheers for an insufferable program full of degenerates. Don't go near him.

I had big negotiation with my wife about telling our 2 youngest kids that Santa Claus is not real. My winning point was that they will have a plethora of disappointment during their life so way can't we just let them have something to believe in. She hates that ole Santa gets all the credit.

Any Cherry Pie worshipers in the River City? Recs?

Last minute request from mom...cherries suck *** (as do most pies, most overrated dessert in the world) so I have no clue -- probably too late anyways to get a good one.

Baldwin's Thanksgiving Menu, prepared solely by the BBdKs, featuring classic family recipes:

Her Aunt's Turkey & Gravy (all mixed in a pan, actually really good)
Her Grandma's scratch Stuffing
Her Grandma's scratch Yeast Rolls
BBdK 4 Cheese Mac
BBdK Scalloped Corn
Ms. BBdK Green Beans
Meemommie's mashed potatoes
KC's cranberry relish
Her Mom's Bacon Deviled Eggs

...put Dad in charge of picking up dessert & custard from the local institution, and Uncle Ben is bringing Broadbent Country Ham, Balderdash, and the Wii (gambol). Alex will bring cigarettes, booze, and nude pics/stories of various Nashville hoes.

Pretty honored & excited to be the "hosts", to be honest. Meemommie actually cried when we offered to take over this year due to her knee-replacement last week -- Baldwin clan unfortunately isn't filled with many (any) women who would/could step up... don't think she had a clue what she was going to do. :flushed:

Thanksgiving is really the best. #family

St. Nicholas Day is alive and well in our household fwiw. Had to sell it to my episcopal wife, but she's on board. Feel like Mom and Dad used to hold that over our heads early in the season... sort of a harbinger for Christmas morning.

From Ice Storm Orgy stories to Open Support Of F***ING Elf of the Shelf.

Oh how GYERO has changed.

I agree. Pretty shocking that a group can change over the course of 15 years after they graduate college, get married, and have kids.

- I can honestly say I have never once seen an Elf on the Shelf Facebook post, besides the ones mocking them. You people need to LEARN Hiding.

- I love St. Nick's Day. Not saying we're perfect by any means, but the Catholics have a lot right.

I've been reading all the #ThanksgivingWithBlackFamilies on twitter. Is potato salad on Thanksgiving a thing?

Jeans, Duck Boots, & Fleece at Mom's Thursday -- Held in the country in an actual BARN on the farm, per tradition.

Jeans, Loafers, & Oxford at the Baldwin's on Friday. Navy Blazer if really cold, which will be removed pronto b/c my 85 year old grandmother & 95 year old Step-Grandfather keep the therm on about 87. :100points:

-Really just proud of my wife, though. It was entirely her idea, and she's excited about it...which is surprising to me given her anxiety about such things typically. She's basically the 'leading' Baldwin female at this point (Under 85) of the family, which is kinda cool.
