Everyone is awful from 3 and Briscoe may as well be shooting from half court at the line.

- Skal hasn't been bad- its just his lack of strength is going to give me the redass all year.

- So, I guess we suck from 3 this year. Thats awesome. Ulis can't buy a 3. Maybe get Mulder some run.

Jamal Murray is good for at least one or two WOW moments per game, it seems. That spin move with the drive and layup-- :boom::boom::boom:

Skal's only averaging 4.3 rebounds per game on a team with not much other beef inside. Not a good sign.

Honestly don't think we are that good right now. We don't shoot it well and we're mediocre on defense.

Teams will pack it in all year long daring us to shoot. We have to generate more transition opportunities.

Lee and Poythress are what they are. Athletes who will flash brilliance but simply put aren't basketball players.

Still kinda shocked at how badly we shoot the ball. Seems to be a recurring theme with Calipari teams. Outside of 2011 pretty much every team has been no better than average at shooting. I'm not talking about overall FG% but jump shots and free throws. Just weird that we aren't better. Hell, Memphis had similar issues. Their FT shooting cost them the 2008 title. Our three point shooting probably cost us a title in 2010. Is it all the emphasis Calipari places on driving the ball? Is that just inherently in the back of players' minds?

That's conversation for a weekday but I definitely think his de emphasis of the three hurt us against Wisky last year.

I'd like to see Mulder get some run.

I think it's clear that kid was just the Murray backup plan. He'll never be more than a practice player here. Maybe have one magic moment at some point in some dark empty SEC West gym or some timely filling in during some foul trouble. We've already recruited over him and it's not even Thanksgiving.

Was that kid from Boston that hit the FT Pelphrey's son? Damn he was happy for him.

If nothing else watching our guards going to the basket in total control is so refreshing. Instead of expecting a foul they expect to score.

There you, Ulis!!!!

I love Briscoe but that J. Wow.

Actually love that #25's game. Also props to the Terriers' for some decent jerseys. Very un-midmajor like.

Rack the BU uni take. Slap a black and yellow striped waistband and trim on it and UL could do a lot worse

Credit to BU for making tough shots. Our D is piss poor, but they are still shooting it with hands in their faces a lot

Of course we're letting them hang around. Third or fourth time we've done this tonight.

Skal is a finesse 4, and guess what, that's fine, won't cost him a dime. He could stop playing college BB after this game and still be a top 3 pick in June '16. That's how much his physicality reallly matters. But in terms of how it effects this team's chances of bringing home #9 is a different story.

In a 3 guard line-up that lacks a complementary bruising PF, Skal's lack of physicality is not only exposed, but it's something that can be exploited.

Hate criticizing Ulis but damn, his shot has been awful. Completely screws us.

Props to Skal's improvement on anticipating block opps. Looking better.

Once Matthews gets confidence in his ball skills, he's going to be a good one.

Which is weird because as recent as the exhibition games Ulis and Murray looked like they could not miss from distance.

Ulis and Matthews never stop. Can't wait to see second or third year Chuck D slashing and cutting on offense
