I am a much better cook than my wife. Not even close. Not only am I a better cook, but I am also a much more efficient cook. I can go to the grocery, have dinner prepared, and the kitchen clean with the dishwasher running in less than an hour for $15 or so.

By contrast, if my wife were to "make dinner," that would entail her leaving work early, spending $125 at the grocery, 1.5 hours of prep/cooking, an erratic meal pace (veggies are ready but it'll be another 20 minutes for the chicken!), a warzone of pans, dishes, and discarded ingredients, and me being an unappreciative *******.

That's just reality.

Ulis 4-19 from 3. :weary:

Even during a slump I didn't think that would ever be possible, considering he takes essentially "good" open 3s 100% of the time.

-My wife is a good cook (not close to me), but it's amazing how much of a mess she can make...then it leaves a 45 minute cleanup process. 'War Zone' is a pretty accurate description.

Never the 'neatest' or most organized person, I'm the complete opposite in the kitchen. Clean as I go, and by the time dinner is plated, you basically wouldn't even know I'd cooked anything.

This is my house as well. I just tell her to not bother with any of it. I think she appreciates not having to do the work, and I appreciate being able to throw in a quick jab of passive-aggressive condescension. Win/win.

- Eye-zack probably has a dope Tiger Pie recipe. That seems right up Dr. Boat's alley for a light snack

- Also a much better cook than the lass. Her diet consists almost entirely of raw veggies, fruit, and some kind of fake meat protein once a day. Some of that is preference, but a lot of it is her complete inability to cook *anything*. Maybe once a week she will try to make some cutesy recipe that ends in disaster and me making something we both like so she doesn't starve to death.

^Same.

I usually prepare the meat (no pun intended) on the grill and she does the side. Amazing the amount of pans, bowls, plates, ingredients that are left sitting out after. And this is from just sautéing a veggie.

Man, that Foreman kid last night was one helluva basketball player.

He's gonna break all sorts of records there, I'd imagine. Dude had black kid burst, too. A shame he'll waste away up there, he could play most anywhere...or certainly at any Pacific NW school, where he's from.

Pretty amazing how Stallings "reloads" Vandy every few years with another young/growing team. He'll have a nice run, a few down years, then right back seemingly out of nowhere with another great bunch. Process has been going on forever, it seems. He can't seem to break through in March, but his ability to build a team to his liking is unreal.

I *love* their squad.

Damn, the Vandy/KU game is a late one tonight (10pm). How do you college basketballs see this one playing out?

BOBBY seems hellbent on trying to avoid playing the dude who actually runs his offense halfway decently. What a dumb turdbaby.
We haven't stopped a running quarterback since the Rich Brooks era and Bobby knows it. He has started and/or used LAMAR! more often against weaker competition this year because he knows those defenses can't stop him from taking off and ripping 10-20 yards pretty much at will. Average or better defenses have no problem with that, so he uses KYLE! in those games. KYLE! gives them a better chance to beat average or better teams, but he still stinks. LAMAR! is essentially a cheat code against bad defenses (like ours.) Hope I'm wrong.

The IT guys are running some type of update which is taking up all of the bandwidth for the entire government. All of the programs I use are internet based so I'm doing literally nothing all day. Should have just stayed home.

Told my UofL co-worker that for anything 3rd and 8-, just roll your quarterback out and run him directly at the 1st down marker.

Profit.

^ it didn't work out that way last year. Reggie isn't quite the dynamic runner Lamar is, but if he stays in that game we win. Kyle killed us.

Pretty much. Also pretty much how Saturday will likely play out if LAMAR gets pulled, imo

I know LAMARheisman™ is a more dynamic runner, but weren't we buttraping REGGIE last season before they put in KYLE? Seems like our staff has been able to come up with decent schemes on D for the last two UL games (just not adjustments oops lol).

Also, no DEVANTE. Go Cats.

Our defense had to be taken a lot more seriously last year, and Reggie isn't half the runner Lamar is. There's no Bud Dupree and no Zadarius Smith to hold the edge. I wouldn't expect Lamar to play all game, he may not even get a majority of the snaps, but that's their game plan. Let him take off running all game until someone on our side proves we can stop it.

Earlier in the season our D-line was lined up early enough to get set and at the last moment shift. Now I just hope to have at least two guys with their hand on the ground at the time of the snap.

The offense also used to bring a WR in motion on at least 50% of the plays, often timed at the snap that seemingly helped to create a bit of confusion. We don't do that anymore either.

I'm no football (although I'm working on the shape) but I don't get it.

$19 candle
$12 hand cream
$22 photo album (haven't developed a photo in a year)
ETC

It cracks me up when my wife always comes back from grocery shopping complaining that she doesn't understand how she spent so much. Oh, I do.

I'm convinced grocery stores like Sav-a-lot aren't priced different than your Meijer and Kroger, there's just less surplus of "stuff" to throw in the cart.

In other news, I had no idea families took as many trips as I am seeing on facebook.

FALL BREAK --> OFF TO NEW YORK WITH THE KIDS
THANKSGIVING --> WATERCOLOR WITH THE KIDS
CHRISTMAS --> KID FIRST TRIP TO THE BAHAMAS
JANUARY-FEBRUARY --> IS IT SPRING BREAK YET LOL

Is this the new expectation amongst the affluent? Honest question. I mean, I had a nice childhood and all but Spring Break at the Gulf was all we knew/got, and I feel #blessed for that.

Meh. Most of those posts are fake. There's not even a real "Bahamas" anymore. All just photoshops by mentally ill hens who think they need winter vacations after spending all year perpetuating MLM juice cleanse scams.
