My family went on vacation to Myrtle Beach every GD year. That place has cleaned up its act a bit, but it was pretty damn red back in the day.

Myrtle Beach was our go-to family vacation spot for about a 5 yr run around middle school. Same hotel, same restaurants, same shopping.

I've been to thirty-something countries but have never set foot in Gulf Shores or any other beach destination along the redneck riveria.

Informed the wife last month that we will be doing Maui again for Thanksgiving next year, Coach Cal be damned. We went in both 2006 and 2010, and it's a perfect time to be on the island.

K. Well, this is your first post about the entire thing, which specifically references the bluetooth version not really being on sale at Amazon.

Bluetooth model

I then sent you a link indicating that yes, the bluetooth model is on sale.

You then changed what you originally referenced and said you were looking for the wifi model. You did this in order to avoid looking like an incompetent boob. You failed. You were wrong, and you still are. The Food Scientist Package, which DOES contain the wifi model, which you weren't even talking about to begin with, IS on sale.

No, the wifi model by itself isn't on sale, but you weren't actually looking for that one until you were confirmed wrong about the bluetooth model.

Get pumped, Doc.

K, well my first post was a joke. Amazon had sliced prices by 25 cents. Better jump all over that.

You said the wifi model was $100 off on their website, which is not entirely true. The expensive package that its bundled with is $100 off. So no, the wifi model isn't exactly $100 off. That is false advertising.

Fist yourself, pal.

I forgot the NCAA vacated 100+ wins from Syracuse and Jimmy. Well they just lost the appeal and the Ws will remain vacated. That's what I want more than anything for UL. Honestly don't see how they'll get around it. Multiple players during that 4 year run weren't eligible.
Obviously you didn't hear the news. The pictures were for calendars. They were going to make and sell calendars called "Ebony Ladies of Louisville: Featuring Chain and MEGATREZ." Probably were going to give the profits to charity too. Toys for Thots. Worldwide Wes, Tom Crean, and Paypal Calamari were too threatened by the way MEGA and the boys were breaking chains of poverty, helping young women pay their way through veterinary school and whatnot, the athletic shoe industry is built on black poverty. Bullet Justice didn't see any whores, idiot. Learn calendars. Learn Louisville men, Learn Minardi Hall sign in sheets, Learn 9/11, Learn LLCs. It's still real to me, dammit.

-I gave up on the grocery argument years ago. No sense fighting it. Upside, if the world ends and we need to survive for a long period of time we have enough food to last at least 4 years.

Lol at taking a vacation somewhere cold during the holidays. Psst. Only exception would be skiing.

You're doing it in a few weeks....NYC is the most magical place anywhere during Christmas/Holidays.

-Why TF is Pope stressing over "Wifi" for a damn cooking device? What a lazy POS...walk yourself into the kitchen.

We're doing Thanksgiving in the mountains this year. And by "mountains" I mean "Pike County." So ... pretty swanky.

You poor bastard. I've been there. The past 2 years I've had Pikeville come to me and not having to drive there has been glorious. Now if I only could get the inlaws to leave their dogs at home it would be perfect.

I've never understood going on vacation to a place where everyone else you know is on vacation too. I get vacationing with a family or 2 here and there, but not the whole freakin' town. See ex. Destin - Spring Break.

Rocky I is the best film by a landslide. Rocky III and IV were much more fun when I was in my teens.

That way, folks who didn't want to deal with the hustle and bustle of Black Friday could just hang out at home and watch Friday, which happens to feature a lot of amazing black actors. Not sure what your problem is, bro.

Let's be honest, how is it still called Black Friday? I mean, there has to be a more racially sensitive name for the day after Thanksgiving.

Gatlinburg and Gulf Shores were in the rotation growing up along with Lake Weiss in Northern Alabama. Didn't know any better and loved every minute.

Don't really consider a long weekend in NYC a "vacation." We're there like 50 hours and if have no desire to be there longer. That's a long weekend UK trip.

BREAKING: Kids, in general, don't know any better and, in fact, will love every minute of whatever you do with them.

Entertaining your kids, in general, has a pretty low bar. Despite what Henbook tells us.

If you pick Sweet Potato anything over regular (of any kind, but ESPECIALLY 5 stick of butter & Cream Thanksgiving style mash) Potato you're DQd.

GFY Max.

Dark Meat Turkey
Bread Stuffing
Mac N Cheese
Mash Potato & Gravy
Corn Pudding
Dinner Rolls
Carrot Cake

(would sub Broc & Cheese Casserole for dessert, horrible ommision, imo)

Sweet potato casserole

Pumpkin pie

Also, although not mentioned, oyster dressing FTW.

Mashed potatoes are vastly over valued BUT if its the only way you get gravy I think you have to do it. Stuffing is over valued but I think it's less negotiable than the choice of meat in terms of plate composition, a true glue guy. Get out of here with corn on the cob at that price, it's going to roll around and there's a 20% chance it ends up on the floor before it makes it back to the chair plus, what's this, I can have the same thing only cut off the cob and simmered with butter and cream for 2 k less, sign me the eff up. Finally dinner rolls, if of the yeast variety ala Sister Schubert (a saint in my book), are the steal of the meal. You're telling me biscuits are a 30% up charge on those doughy morsels of starchy goodness, eff off.

White Turkey
Mashed Potatoes
Bread Stuffing
Creamed Corn
Rolls
Cherry Pie
Banana Pudding

500 left over for a scoop of vanilla ice cream on that cherry pie
