<-------- would kill to have Richt here, Anth's reaction would make it worth any downside (which would be close to zero) imo.
Actually, he'd probably be about as good as we could do. His sanctimonious ******** would be enough to finally push me over the edge though.

A fired coach having a departing PC with the university and reading bible verses. Yeah, that's pretty normal. Actually thats the most UGA thing ever.

-USC off the board. UGA needs to go all in on Chip.

Tell us more about this Larry Bird fella...seems like he disagrees a lot, and was one helluva player.

Looks like a dorky stiff, imo.

Could Bo Pelini replace Eliot? Smoke there. Pelini is certifiable crazy but I like him. He was fired for winning 9 at Nebraska. Only makes about 250K at Youngstown. I think this is what we need and would definitely give some sort of boost.

Stoops' brother is on his staff at Youngstown. Think that's all his attendance to Saturday's circus was about.

Just stupid to watch Bird depicted like that. He was far from mild mannered. Ornery would be a much better description.

Yeah, pretty dumb of a comedy sketch to sacrifice accuracy for humor. Just stupid, imo.

^I'd love that but you'd have to question anyone respectable that comes to this staff right now. Also, Eliot came with Stoops. Is he really going to can that guy? It's not really even him I'm looking at. Offense is the real problem, IMO.

I'd really like to confirm that we could have really hired Lincoln Riley over Billy Clyde Dawson. Jones has stated that but I'd like to know the real story. That could be the hire that ultimately costs Stoops his job.

The offense sucks. I'd not be against firing Dawson after one season.

But the defense is a joke against anything with a pulse. We were "surprised" that UL went to Jackson?

We've had 3 years of that ****. Lining up wrong, no pressure on the QB, missed tackle after missed tackle, runners going right up the gut and not being touched for 20 yards…

New DC is priority #1 for me. And I'm just getting started, bro.

We arent going to get any better until players stop going to church and start running around campus head-butting and biting people like winners do.
Writing was on the wall when our players got arrested for playing with nerf guns. That's not SEC-level.

I think Richt already has a job lined up at either South Carolina or Miami.

Georgia fan would collectively **** themselves if Richt took the S Carolina job, but poster on the HoB, Georgia Wildcat, said he's taking a position within the athletics dept running the "Paul Oliver Network"...'Canes trying to get Davis back apparently..

I'd really like to confirm that we could have really hired Lincoln Riley

Riley flat out turned us down for OU. Dawson was the next choice in line, and here we are.

...and yes, Richt was fired in the most friendly terrible way ever.

It may not actually be Richt. Maybe UGA is just such big pussies they don't have what it takes to be on the top level.

At least we're not USC. Shew. I'd be pretty steamed right now.

Is this Joelle's Hot Chicken place that's taking over the Billy's BBQ any good? Never heard any of the Louisville people in here mention it.

-Its hard not to watch footage of next years incoming class and not get bonored up. It also helps forget what a complete **** show our football program is.
-I must not be a real fan anymore because I'm really contemplating dumping our season tickets. To spend $4k +a year to leave games so pissed off really doesn't make sense.
More than likely, the idiot in me renews and does this to myself all over again next year.

I'm pretty sure I'm not renewing. It's already easy to get tickets to games you want to go to, and I suspect it'll be even easier next year. Season tickets are an expense that, frankly, I have a hard time justifying right now.

Can't blame anyone for not renewing. Especially the people that were displaced b/w seasons. Before people would renew just b/c they didn't want to lose their long time seats.

The ol' Redhead lost a ton of good will this season in just over 6 weeks.

Think I'm out. Spending that much money on something that makes me miserable just doesn't make sense at this point in my life.

It's about as joyless of a pastime that I could think of.

I can handle losing - you sort of have to with this program. It was the complete and utter dysfunction that destroyed this season that I can't deal with. There is absolutely nothing about UK football to feel good about right now.

They're putting a new Red State in across the street from me. I can see the shiny new red paint on the building out my window. It's still not open yet. It's just sitting there tormenting me in the cold rain. Fk you empty building. Hurry up and feed me delicious barbecue.

One of my favorite things ever is when media members roll their eyes and ***** about college programs' firing their coaches, sanctimoniously bemoaning how much of a business college sports have become. It's rich coming from a-holes who...

a) Are the ones who drum up the discontent.

b) Have easy jobs because of this system.

Sportswriters are the worst, the absolute worst.

For something that in reality is so trivial in life, UK football has caused a great deal of stress, unhappiness, and financial drain. Crystal and I looked forward to football season for a number of years now. Even when all the **** was hitting the fan during the end of the Joker era, while everyone was getting out, we donated more and more. We knew at some point that UK Football was going to rebound, that things were going to be fun, we were investing in our future. We wanted plenty of seats and parking passes so we could someday start bringing our future family (now 2 boys) to games. Years ago, seeing what joy the Schems had going to games together as a family, that was powerful stuff for me when I thought about my future family and how Id like us all to be. We finally have seats we really like, great parking passes, but all the rest just inst there. It just isn't fun. Seats are super easy to get, I could pay $100 game to park in any lot for whatever games I wanted to go to, and still save a ton of money. I'm just kind of at a crossroads and I think alot of long time, diehard fans are. Maybe we should all be more like Chad and just hit a couple games a year. That son of a ***** is always happy. I want to be happy like Chad too.

I don't understand your angle here. Are you trying to piss off just about everyone on here? Lord knows I'm done w/ UK football after sitting through that effing mess but there some that aren't -- why do you feel the need to patronize them?

His angle is finding the most contrarian stance he can and then rolling with it. It's been that way for a few years now.

Pti spends a good portion of time calling me fat and lazy. I tell him I bought a treadmill, gonna get back in shape.

Cough, well that was stupid.

Meh, most everyone here isn't "done." At least I know the guys like Geese and SAE aren't done. They may take a year off until this mess clears up but soon as we hire Les Miles they'll be back on board. Tailgate in the Orange lot, Parking passes on craigslist, duck boots, pumpkin pie shots.

<---I'm not out. At least not where I was Jokers final season when I refused to attend a game and that was out of protest. UK Football, unfortunately, is something I'll never give up. No matter how many times it's burns me.

I bailed 3 years ago and was about as diehard as it gets. I won't lie...I miss it. But I've moved on. I have great memories of that 15 year period. Went to a lot of games. Saw some crazy stuff...Bluegrass Miracle, Stevie Got Loose, knocking off #1 LSU, GameDay, Air Raid Tim Couch style, epic road trips to LSU, Georgia, Arkansas, etc.

I'll be back. Just not now. Hard to say UK Football has disappointed me, but it has "jumped the shark", as ridiculous as that sounds. Guess that's the best way to describe it. The joy is gone. And right now, I just don't care. It's an empty feeling and I hate it. But it is what it is.
