UCLA barely ventured 2 feet out of the lane and we looked like **** because of it and you guys think I'm special because I'd like to see Mulder/Willis more, and groups of 5 that allow for better balance.

I'm not arguing the "special" part, BTW.

I'm just pissed that we looked THAT bad.

-Hey, be nice to Krazy. He's a terrible poster but no dying in aids infested turd piles. That's my book.

-No we should not platoon. Jesus, Krazy.

It was. PTI(pti) completely "invents" 95% of his arguments, as has always been the case.

It's unbelievable. If he's not completely changing what you said he just fabricates them.

and for three years now most of you windbags have been talking about poythress working to expand his game. nope.

What?

I've (we) been squawking since he was a frosh that he's an undersized 4 and needs to live on the baseline and solely be there for dump offs and weakside offensive boards.

You're completely FOS.

Earlier I got out of my truck, went into Starbucks, purchased a quad espresso, paid via phone app, casually strolled out in a great mood to find my truck still running. SMH. At least it was in park I guess.

I know there's a lot to bemoan this morning but Briscoe continued to show what a bulldog he is. It's silly how often he finds himself at the basket off the dribble despite not really having a ton of explosiveness. He's obviously got to watch how a game is being called but defensively he's a handful.

Ulis is still hurt. They need to shut him down until that gets right. No sense in letting it linger throughout the season. If he has to miss the next 2 weeks, so be it.

Murray is a point guard. He's used to dictating the tempo and finding a rhythm if by no other way than by handling the ball. It's understandable that it's going to take some adjusting. Frankly, he might not completely in the one year he's here.

Skal has seen some **** in his life and persevered, I don't doubt the kids heart. I mean he was buried in rubble for hours in a 3rd world country. Thing is he's never had to compete like this. That "meal ticket prep" as someone called it was a disservice to him in preparation to coming here. Kenny Payne is going to beat him to death during "Camp Cal."

Poy and Lee, we have to have at least one of them playing well. Period. They have to lead by example because they know what effort level it takes. If Skal is struggling, they both need to be at least respectable.

Willis and Matthews need to understand the next month is going to be a Cal special mind touch. Some games they'll play 20 mins, others they might play 4. Practice will likely be hell. Self confidence will be key as he's going to see if they're going to step up and be a rotation guy or if they get to join Hawkins as a nice option to have for this year.

Isaac, keep on running brother. Conditioning so that you can move your feet after a 4 min flurry will keep you on the court.

Lets be honest, is a Mercedes luxury SUV really a truck?

I'm not sure what I love most about this post:

*Calling his luxury SUV "a truck".
*Buying a quad espresso
*Making a point to note he paid with an app.
*His attempt at a Richie-ism- "casually strolled out in a great mood"
*Left the engine running like an idiot.

Re: Skal

Cal has always been one to kind of "force" development of his players. KAT last year was a good example, he was proud of his J and Cal wasn't having any of it...he knew KAT has to learn to play down low and through contact. Not that KAT was ever afraid of contact, but he wasn't used to playing through it and as time went on last year he figured it out, became pretty dominate down there and it lead to him being the overall #1 pick.

I'm not sure that can or will ever happen with Skal. Cal may have to just allow him to be a face up big and embrace it. Let him play out of the lane and run in to crash the boards. Maybe even invert the offense some using Skal to feed some of our guards (we saw Briscoe post up the other night and I thought that was pretty cool, an NBA coaching move). Skal's future, and probably his place in the league, may be that of a stretch 4. I'm interested to see if Cal just concedes that because this deal of having him fight for position on the block and our guards just looking at him like "yeah, that's not going to work" is tough to watch.

Exactly how it went down. I felt an accurate sequence was crucial to the story. How boring is, "I left my SUV running while I was in the store?"

No idea why I call it a truck.

Although I don't think it's a truck. Really no idea why I refer to it as that. Other than saying SUV is annoying. I think it's like calling any soft drink a Coke.

At least George wasn't sitting inside the truck.

It may be because our "bigs" are so physically weak by comparison, or it may be because my HD was coming through extra-clear last night, but does Poythress look heavier to anyone else? He looks like he's gained 10-15 pounds since Madness and he's not as light on his feet.

Injury rehab or not, he should be getting smoother and more nimble instead of stiffer and heavier. Just a casual observation.

Poythress caught his tooth on the net. I think his "light on his feet" is fine. Saw him up close a few times, looks lean as ever.

He's doing the same **** that's drove us batshit for 3 years. This is nothing new. Next game he'll have 12/8 and put a few dudes on a poster. Probably put a ball up against the bottom of the backboard, lay a ball in when his elbow is above the rim and dribble a ball off his foot for ***** and giggles.

Anth's Mercedes SUV is a truck as you look like 80's Val Kilmer

Did I say I look like 80's Val Kilmer?

I grab a big coffee in the morning, pour into my Yeti rambler, stays piping hot a long time. Which is good, considering I work 12 hour days.

That's what I thought too until last night. It just looked like the dude had been at an all-you-can eat 2 hours earlier or something. I've thought he's looked fine all year. I guess I wasn't expecting Old Alex (or maybe just regular Alex) to show up.

We just had a rough night. Have we blown a fast break all year before last night and we blew 3 IIRC?

Just had a client call in saying they are dealing with some mold issues in the bathroom & a few other area downstairs, and due to his wife's sensitivity to this mold they're gonna renovate the downstairs bathroom & living room.

Wanted to see "how we can get this taken care of with our home policy"

[laughing] K. We're also offering a December special where we'll finish any basement if you let us renovate any 2 rooms. Call your agent today!

Damn. We hit in a million views in the last day. Not bad for something that's tucked away on the fringe of the UK internet that actively tries to keep people away. Seven months to the day of the first post in this GYERO.
