Water Fountain with 25 against unathletic & scrubby Arizona & Sean Miller ...with 18 minutes to go.

Wouldn't crack our rotation tho.

K. You lost this one, worst than anyone could EVER lose one.

Just take it, and deal with it. :100points:

False. John Calipari was never going to play that kid.

I want to hear your explanation of whose minutes he was going to take last year. Where would he fit into a team that had seven players drafted?

And Arizona is playing their first game since Tarczewski went down, not surprising their front court defense is ****** today.

You're really making yourself look stupid. He played him in KEY moments as a freshman, and enough to earn him 6th MOY the next year.

Izak played 27 minutes last game, but a 1st Team AA wouldn't play?

[laughing]

Keep it coming, and let me know when ONE person agrees with you...only thing dumber you've said recently is that WWE Raw or whatever is the loudest Rupp has ever been.

K, keep bringing the :fire:

Thx.

Anyone who thinks 1st Team AA Kyle Wiltjer wouldn't play this year, and be HUGE on this team...should probably never post in GYERO again.

Not sure how else to put it, really.

Please take my advice if that is you, TIA.

Skal, Izak, Jamal, Matthews, Marcus, Willis...all defensive stoppers. No way Kyle would get in!!! [roll]

Wiltjer wouldn't even be on this team if he had stayed here. He would have graduated last season. That's the whole f'n point of the argument. The two teams he would have in theory played for had the following players at his position(s):

Julius Randle
Alex Poythress
Willie Cauley-Stein
Karl Anthony Towns
Dakari Johnson
Trey Lyles
Marcus Lee

Whose minutes is he taking? This coach has shown over and over and over again that if someone doesn't play defense or is a ****** defender, he won't play them regardless of how well they shoot the ball.

I declare myself correct and anyone who agrees with you is a mindless sycophant incapable of their own rational thought. You have beaten this dead horse beyond the kid's actual eligibility. He'll be forty years old and you'll still be arguing he would have made the difference in a 36-4 national title and a 38-2 national title.

Only if he had a red shirt year would he have helped THIS year. Unless he became a grad assistant and became a coach and taught Skal how to be tough and rebound. Water Fountain thinks Skal's rebounding and toughness is weak. Definitely could have FireWater Willis ride around with him and teach him how to be like Kyle. Same player really,,, not.

Well Alex did not play last year, so I would guess he could have got his minutes, and if Marcus Lee was not a stud last year he maybe could have got his minutes, or maybe, just maybe, sacrifice some of Dakari's intimidating defense and athletic ability for some outside scoring and take Dakari's minutes. But too bad we did not have any extry big men last year that could have made it possible to maybe go with a scorer on the wing and maybe lose a little defense. We had all the scorers from the outside we needed with the twins. I mean against Wisconsin we did not need any scoring or outside shooters, we where killing them from the outside. If only Kyle would have stayed and Karl Towns and Willie could have been even serviceable on defense where we could have not needed Dakari playing so much.

That's basically what you're saying...

Thanks.

I'm very confident 95% on GYERO agrees you should stick with wrestling.

Correct again. That's exactly what I'm saying- players who have exhausted their eligibility would not in fact play for the current team regardless of the current needs.

What happened is you tried to trot out your tired Wiltjer argument a month ago, not realizing at the moment you mentioned it that he would have graduated last season had he not transferred. When called out on it you shifted your argument to some theoretical scenario wherein he would actually be on this roster. I never said he would not crack this rotation. The problem is he would have graduated here before ever getting a chance to really play.

My opinion of how he would fit it on this team, if the NCAA allowed us to ignore their eligibility rules, would be that Cal would play him until the new guys got to the point where they had learned how to play some semblance of defense and then Kyle would start losing his minutes again. As soon as he could justify playing the younger, one and done guys over him, Cal would barely play him. For better or worse, it's obviously more important to 'showcase' the stars here than play guys like Hawkins or Willis or Wiltjer who won't be shaking Adam Silver's hand in six months.

Old Man Vaught just told a fake account to "call me if you're bored, I'll be up late"

Zero shame in his creep game. He's a combination of Quagmire, and the old man Herbert if the character was into girls instead

I'm sure Larry Bird disagrees, but I swear I've posted this same tweet like 8 times in a row.

Anyone want to point out that unlikely Cal would have redshirted him, technically Wiltjer could have been eligible to play for UK this year. That said, given his defensive liabilities, I'm not sure how much Cal would have put him out there. He absolutely infuriated Cal when it came to defense.

He's Tom Crean / Elf on the Shelf level of creepy. Whether its on social media, his articles, or on the radio, he has no shame in making some comment that is over the edge.

Everything I've watched has just reinforced that giving up is the answer.
A) giving up is never not the answer imo

B) I'm giving everyone on GYERO a two week window to hop aboard the Bengals band wagon to see what if feels like in the event a long suffering fanbase well versed in historically awful football is actually rewarded for once. I'll vouch for you. Just send me a message to [email protected]

I can't tell if this post is serious or a parody with that inclusion.

Obviously it'll never get close to happening, but I can't imagine how fun it would be having even the slightest chance of making the playoff. Just catching a sniff of it would be exhilarating. Unfortunately the only thing we'll ever smell is the **** roasting in our pants.
