Our bench scored a whole 3 points yesterday- the Mulder 3 pointer. I think the Skal experiment is over. Willis had 17 minutes to Skal's 4 last night. Even Mulder had more minutes with 11.

What are you moron night crew/weekenders talking about, UK football has suffered similar holocaust losses all the damn time

Like we didn't just sprint out to a 1st qtr 21-0 lead & Pisa it away to our instate rival 6 weeks ago or something

I assumed the reference was to basketball. The football team is never in a post season situation, so it wouldn't apply to them.

LOLZ hope ol' Randy Chumps enjoyed the game last night. Warmed my heart to hear it (didn't watch that ****, of course) play out exactly like it did.

Guess we're onto the T-Wolves and Blue Jackets now! PSYCHED.

Loser.

- Do feel for the people on here who are Bengals fans bc they're good dudes. It's the moron NFL fans doing extreme & moronic things I don't feel bad for. When they cheered that injury I wasn't surprised at all.

- Nantz is awful. Used to love him bc of his voice & delivery being a staple of March Madness & The Masters. Then I realized he doesn't know crap about basketball & comes off like a racist.

Nope. Other than his fantastic performance goading the Bengal thugs into another penalty. But of course this was "his fault." Lol.

Why aren't you all Saints fans by now?

The hit on Brown was absolutely a penalty. HOWEVER, Porter shouldn't have been on the field. I agree with the penalty on Jones for acting like a thug...HOWEVER, the refs also should've thrown a penalty on Porter/Steelers Bench.

Pretty sad situation...but the correct thing to do would've been to give the Steelers a 15 yard penalty, offset the other personal foul penalties, and the Steelers get a 47 Yard FG Attempt in the Rain to win.

The NFL is awful, and pretty much deserves what they get at this point. They ruined a great game. Bunch of hypocrites. Last night's game was out of control. On both sides.

YOU CAN'T PICK AND CHOOSE WHICH RULES YOU WANT TO FOLLOW:

Article I, section 8: Non-player personnel of a club (e.g., management personnel, coaches, trainers, equipment men) are prohibited from making unnecessary physical contact with or directing abusive, threatening, or insulting language or gestures at opponents, game officials, or representatives of the League. The penalty: 15 yards.

Dude coaches go on the field for serious injuries all the time and non-dumbass thugs manage to not get flags for talking **** to them.

Regardless if he's out there... Jones should've shut the hell up. Not to mention the whole reason they were out there was for that ridiculous hit.

Actually, they don't.

http://www.sbnation.com/2016/1/10/10743904/steelers-bengals-joey-porter-foul

Rule 13.1.2 is pretty clear:

Either or both team attendants and their helpers may enter the field to attend their team during a team timeout by either team. No other non-player may come on the field without the Referee's permission, unless he is an incoming substitute (5-2-2).

During any team timeout, all playing rules continue in force. Representatives of either team are prohibited from entering the field unless they are incoming substitutes, or team attendants or trainers entering to provide for the welfare of a player, and any game-type activities are prohibited on the Field of Play.

I feel bad for chad, jerry, willy and maxx. That's the list. The rest... not so much.

Yeah, I didn't even send them a single text, despite my pregame warning to them to "keep their phones on" after all their smack this week (and all year) ...just didn't seem right. I even give my UofL/IU fans at least a 24 hr grace period most times, just seems like the fanly thing to do. Unlike Bengals fans, I'm very classy. :sunglasses:

...probably should have still given it to Jerry. That Dbag texts bombs/harasses me after UK Losses, as an apparent fan. [eyeroll]

-Had no clue it was going to snow. Wodie. Roads were pretty bad & untouched this morning, was this not expected?

-You NFL Footballs like either of these lines today?

I hate to pick against Teddy :)rolleyes:), but the Vikings are newbies, and the Seahawks are battle tested. I'd go with the Seahawks. Think they'll win pretty easily.

But it's the NFL, so who the hell knows.

Probably a pretty smart call. Teddy's getting there and progressing nicely, but he isn't quite there.

I'd love for the Vikings to come out and surprise me, but everything my guys do well, their guys do better, except maybe run the ball, but it's pro football and the playoffs and running is the most irrelevant thing. I'm feeling something like 17-3. Likely won't be the officials' faults either, so apologies in advance for the lack of fun tweets.

Mean old Joey Porter talking trash. Boo freaking hoo. Burfict out there headhunting, jeopardizing careers and lives. He is complete trash. Dirtiest player in the league.

UK win. Steelers win. Bengals meltdown. Beautiful night.

How is it even possible BKH34 with 62 posts has more likes than your 35,000+?

Pretty simple. If Burfict and Jones weren't complete pieces of **** the Bengals would have won.

Or they had a coach who could handle his squad. Of the six longest tenure NFL coaches ML is the only one not to win a Super Bowl. Each coach, except Marvin, has at least five playoff wins.

Officials let that thing get outta hand with several judgment calls that ratcheted things up to another level...
Eifert gets hit in the chest (defenders helmet then slides up and makes contact with this head) - no penalty
Wheaton gets hit high on the chest (and bottom of face mask) - 15 yards
Shazier crowns Bernard - no penalty and then Pittsburgh gets the fumble. Announcers were 100% wrong on this one and Shazier will get fined.
Burfict kills Brown. Good call.
Porter isn't penalized for going over and practically getting into the Cincy huddle... Jones reacts and gets penalized.

Individually, the Shazier call was the only egregious one. Combined... It all set the tone for things to get outta hand.

What happened? How did that f'ing happen? WTF?

I don't take Bengals/UKFB as life-and-death as UKBB because I'm not an idiot but I've been a fan my entire life and it's given me nothing for 25 years and it's just another kick to the balls, pure-bengal way to lose.

No more King Cake for me. My first one, amazingly...happy it was the REAL DEAL to pop my cherry, but umm.....not a good thing for my "Okay, time to get serious" weekend following my annual New Year depressing opening week.

My god that thing is good. Basically a turbo cinnamon roll/coffee cake type deal w/ thick cream cheese icing. Not what I thought it was...not really sure what I thought it would be, but o_O

Hopefully I'll get another one next year, much appreciated, but I definitely do not need another one in the house for awhile. :weary::100points:

I'll likely never have another team. UK BBall/Football, STL when in contention (for fun) b/c I grew up with it, but it's not an emotional type deal for sure. Plus, it's baseball.

Always wondered what it's like if/when you move to another city? Take Lewis, he's ALL IN on Chicago Sports......but Ursch doesn't seem to give a flip about NOLA teams.

I assume at some point it's inevitable, but I wonder what it takes? Probably depends on the person. If I moved to _insert city_ tomorrow, while I'm sure I'd take an interest, I can't imagine I'd be emotionally invested within 10 years, if ever. Guess I can't say b/c it's never happened, just curious to other experiences.

I'm comfortable saying I could NEVER have a legit "2nd team" to UK though...just don't think it would be possible, even if I lived somewhere else starting tomorrow until I die. Could be wrong, but doubt it. I could see myself *maybe* really getting into a team due to the fun/convenience, but not living and dying with it 247/365. Just no way.

-Just a nut punch game. Hate it for the Bengals fans. Bengal fan is no worse than average NFL fan. Awful way to lose. Period. 2nd worst nut punch game this football season, with the first being UM/MSU, but touch the Michigan fans.

-Got this in the mail yesterday, present from pops. Not sure when I can ever wear it, but pretty hilarious.

Bandwagon fan. Right. Should have got out my map and picked the closest geographic team as a child. Fake fan. :joy:

Bengals are pure trash. Top to bottom. So glad I didn't fall into that closest geographic team stupidity. :raised_hands:

WhoDey?!! SteelersDey! Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
