My son was moping around yesterday. I asked him what was wrong and he said he lost a tooth the previous day, didn't tell anyone, and put it under his pillow as a test to see if the Tooth Fairy was real or if it was me. Now he's upset he didn't get any money. Well, son, you f'd around and found out, didn't you?
This is one of my fears with G.

I got an email today from UK Athletics “Own a piece of Memorial Coliseum!” They must have realized after the dumpster diving that they could make money.

- @RibsAndWhiteBread gonna make an appearance at the Extrav? Curious to see which parent wins the gameday attire decision, or going with a house divided wardrobe?

It pains my wife and she has never admitted it- but our daughter is dad's girl. She will go to mom at times when she's fussy- but the majority of the time shes at my hip, and i'll be content with that if it never changes... so there is no question she will be wearing blue for the weekend and any time they go head to head. Our house is divided- but my daughter and I are not.

Rudd....La Buche in Quebec City was the best meal I had in Canada. Deer tartare. Had great food at Schwartz' Deli in Montreal. And we really enjoyed Onhwa Lumina, a walk-through light show about indigenous people in Wendake (near QC), and the Aura Experience at the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal.

Also took a nice little half-day and went out to Ile D'Orleans near QC, stopped at some fruit/vegetable stands for the best strawberries I'd ever tasted, visited Montmorency Falls, etc.

Love that area and can't wait to go back.

-Louisville is better than they have been. Still think they're light in the trenches. ACC is soft.

^living off the ND win... and ND is living off *almost* beating ohio st when ohio st was struggling.

Remember when Will Levis ran for a billion yards at Papa John Stadium? Ray Davis may triple it.

* Weirdly, I more confident about us stopping a mobile QB than an air attack. We've done a good job containing dual threat QBs under Brad White.

I think our hopes on Saturday rely on causing a few turnovers.

* This kind of depresses me. Elon Musk says he's seen no evidence of aliens. Given his involvement in aerospace and defense, he's probably the private citizen with the most access to that sort of thing. He also seems wild enough to say it if he saw something. If Trump and Musk aren't blabbing about aliens, maybe we are alone.

I don’t think physics and aliens rule each other out. Why couldn’t they have figured out things about physics we don’t know or be a million years more advanced than us?

Let me restate. I believe there very well could be advanced life forms with greater intelligence than us in the universe.

That said, assuming that worm holes are an impossibility (which I believe), I don’t see anyway a biologic could come here due to the laws of physics.

I think it would be scarier if we are the most advanced life forms in the Universe.

We can send people to the moon, call someone on the phone who lives across the world in seconds, replace human organs to allow people to live longer, have any sort of data you need at your disposal via computers, and a slew of countless mind blowing inventions/technological advances. Yes, the dumbs can offset this to a point, but not sure how much more advanced you are referring to. But in regards to your statement...we are.

We're still exploring the possibility that life exists, or could have existed, on other planets and moons in our solar system. If we can't even rule that out, and there are 100,000,000 other stars just in our galaxy, and 2,000,000,000,000 other galaxies in the observable universe, I'd say the odds are pretty high that other life forms exist.

The odds of two civilizations that evolved separately on different planets actually meeting each other are incredibly low. Time may be an even bigger barrier than space. There has been space travel for less than 100 years, or 0.000002% of Earth's 4.5 billion year history.

Of course, as Neil DeGrasse Tyson explains it, if there is a multi-verse with infinite universes, there are infinite versions of each of us walking around on infinite other Earths, regardless of life on other planets in our own universe.

Anyways, how's Texas A&M Commerce lookin' this year?

I seriously think some of these Division 1 games are fake, and the teams that are supposedly playing are legitimately made up. Just perusing the slate of matchups tonight, the following teams are on the schedule...

- Wilberforce
- Ave Maria
- Mid American Christian
- College of Biblical Studies
- Saint Josephs Long Island

Seriously. Totally fabricated.

Is Louisville good or is the ACC that bad?
Only 4 out of 10 teams they have played have winning records and 3 of those games were at home. The overall record of their opponents is 30-39. They have benefitted by having a weak schedule as well as playing any decent teams at home. In my opinion they aren't as good as their record would indicate and if they played in the SEC or Big 10 would probably be more like 5-5 or 6-4.

We’re actually at like level 1 of civilization advancement which is the lowest level so I doubt we’d be the most advanced unless you just want to think we’re special.
