I said I was cautiously optimistic after Kansas , F-ck it, I'm pushing all my chips in now. Total joy to watch. Giddy just talking to my wife about the game tonight.

I'll enjoy this season but if you're Reed Shepherd or any of us, isn't playing at Kentucky the dream more than the NBA? Maybe you don't stay 4 years but you'll only be a Wildcat once. Depends on what his legacy is after a year and if he has a title to show for it but I don't think that decision will be cut and dry

I get all that. But Reed, if anyone, would come back here as a late 1st Rd pick vs the endless who don’t. We’ve had a few…but obviously rare.

Happens at KU/UNC/Duke on a near annual basis. If there was anyone who’d do it here, it’s Shep for a few million reasons, and not all monetary. I mean, he’s already well on his way to generational BBN folk hero status. If we fall well short of our goals, could absolutely see it.

Plus, it’s unrealistic to think he’ll maintain THIS pace. I mean, I think?

May need a few clunkers when it doesn’t matter soon tho 🤪

Also, I took BBdK's point to heart. Calipari, by bringing in a fresh perspective on offense, and seemingly embracing it, even if it's begrudgingly; deserves the benefit of the doubt. So, I'm going to STFU about him, until such time (and I sincerely hope that time doesn't come) as he reverts. Because Cal's recruiting acumen, combined with a modern/wide open style, will rape college basketball.

Tonight provides pretty strong evidence that he's adapting. This is a game that old Cal would have, most likely, tried to ugly up/keep the score down. Instead, he let the horses run. And it was glorious. It's been a long time since we just *****-slapped a legit Top 10 team into giving up. And that IS what happened. Miami ran it's mouth in a bar, and got hit over the head with a beer bottle, and UK left with their girllfriend.

I've always said we'd shut up if he implemented what the rest of college basketball was doing. Well, he's on the bleeding edge right now and not too many things can be said that aren't positive.

In the words of BKH, John Welch is a witch.
Speak for yourself. I’m not going to shut up.

Because I’m about to tweet so much toxic **** at Goodman and Dauster for being dweeb losers.

WTF is wrong with BBN? It’s November. Can we hold off for a few more days stressing about Shep going pro?

Keep your BS to yourselves.
—I know this is sarcasm but I actually do want to see how cal uses Bradshaw before I let it soak. 5 Bradshaw 4 Mitchell 3 Edwards 2 reeves 1 Wagner isn’t a spacing five and I fear that’s the lineup that sees the most minutes.

Yal probably know bradshaws game more than I do as I’ve only seen a couple highlight reels so I may be wrong.

—I don’t think anyone expected Reed to be this but a lot of us expected him to be a good player for us this year. Mitchell on the other hand has surprised the **** out of me. I was telling one of my buddies tonight that 90% of the teams we play we could probably get by with him at the five and just outscore teams.

Kansas was obviously a matchup problem but there’s not a ton of Dickersons out there in college basketball is there?

—I think we get Reed for two years. He keeps on showing out on espn and that may be a stretch.

— Dillingham. I mean come on how freaking smooth is he. He went on his little mini run and idk whether it was a Miami timeout or a tv timeout but the camera cut to him walking off the floor with cal (light heartedly) nagging him for not doing something and he just smiled at cal and walked on to the bench. Not to go back to football but mandel and Feldman basically said on their pod that if A&M wanted stoops, stoops would be their head coach (implying that stoops was all in and A&M wasn’t). Then Feldman quickly said, “and Sumrall would be at UK right now.”

If that's the line up Cal goes with he may get strung up on the courthouse steps in March.

Think i'm to the point where if the bigs see the floor and can take things up another level- protect the rim, hit the boards, dont disrupt the flow of the offense then thats great... but the group as is- is potentially lethal. Tre Mitchell may have some deficiencies, but last night he was exceptional on both sides of the ball in a really tough matchup.

-That’s why you pay for League Pass? That’s when I go poo or change the channel but I don’t have kids.

That’s like saying I pay for the MLB Network to watch the Freeze race people.

-Napoleon was 🔥. Wardrobes were impeccable, musical score was amazing and acting couldn’t have been much better. Highly recommend. Did not feel like 2.5 hours.

-Could see my flipping breath in my house this morning. 48? Wth? This is NOT why we do this. Of course it’ll be 80 Friday. Little too much KY in this St Pete November for my liking.

Speaking of Kentucky, when did the below become acceptable? Lower case Y? The f**k is that? Asked my mom about it while I was home and said she’d noticed it too and had no idea.

Don’t lower case my Y, bro.
