Good luck. Almost feel bad for Keaten. He's legitimately good at his position and is going to end up going to whoever promises his brother a starting QB spot. Grambling State or something. OR, they're gonna be "lied to" again, just to get Keaten on the field.
But we didn’t lie. We kept him at QB and even gave him an unearned start in the bowl game. Most other schools would have moved him to defense in his first fall practice.

Keaton needs to forge his own path. His family is going to limit his career.

Parents are reflecting what the kid is telling them. Parents are gonna parent.

Twins are strange. They want to ensure you know the difference between the two in name only… but can’t separate themselves in most anything else. Weirdos really.

-Am I officially committed to GYERO when days later I go back and see all the pages of comments regarding Cal and another crap loss?

-Is it over the top to go back to page 1 of GYERO to see if anything interested me back in 2015?

- I can honestly say if the Cats win number 9 this season, and during the post game interview Cal says he is retiring or moving to another team, it would not bother me at all. Really not one bit.

- He just sucks the life out of everything. Did he really publicly call out Reed after the game?

- Still haven't seen anything to make me stop comparing Edwards to Skal.

- FanDuel got me back for killing them in the TNF game after betting every UK parlay I could find. Nothing hit.

- UGA losing a 3 point game to a top 10 team and missing out on the final 4 is harsher to me than Florida St.

- Haven't even looked at the bowls yet, but made a bet with a Big10 homer that the SEC would win more head to head games. Is it a lock or are the SEC best skipping the bowls?

- Still don't understand why Sheron doesn't get more run. Why do we lock into these QB's who have weaknesses and just turn the season over to them no matter what?

Have you seen him play?

He got one start last year and the first play of the game was a crappy offensive call that put everything sideways. He may not be Tom Brady, but I swear it seems to me play calling gets stupid when he gets to play.

Don't think he has ever gotten a fair shake.

If he was worth a **** they wouldn’t be paying someone else a million dollars for the position when he is free already…

It’s like Trey Lance for the 49ers. Coaches see these guys at practice. They know which players are good and which ones suck. They don’t have to see game action.

This doesn’t apply to Calipari btw.

Sheron in the portal. I guess we will see. I hope he doesn't go someplace else and blow up.
You’ll never hear the name again most likely and definitely not if you didn’t know who he was already.

You may not have even heard of the college he ends up at…

-First caffeine in almost a month today (medication I was on) and I was ZOOTED, damn that’s good stuff, no idea why people avoid it or abstain.

It doesn’t turn you into a drunk or crackhead or anything it and flipping works though I know that.

That loss definitely burns more with the 1 game a week szn in effect for a bit. Should be top 6-8 heading into this stretch gd’it.

…but I’m not letting 1 game reverse what I’ve seen thus far. Complete turd, but Talk to me after the next few. Definitely think it’s a complete overreaction (today) to think we will suddenly reverse course on our style, and Cal has repeated the same.

We don’t have the players to revert to an Oscar type situation, and The players were trash, including Reed early in start #1, which led to the hole we never recovered from. The entire mojo was just off.

Not an excuse, was a garbage loss, but it’s also not gonna DEFINE my outlook, or what I’ve seen in the other games. We follow the complete 180 style in next few, then yeah, I’ll reconsider. But again, UNCW was much more on the players imo & the typical bonkers performance by a Rupp visitor. Zero defense, selfish offense. Hate everything about it.

To boost my mood, been revisiting favorite clips. 90s cbb is just pinnacle sports. Zona backcourt of Stoudamire (obvs) & Reeves (24ppg!) is one of the most overlooked of my lifetime when talking ‘best’, imo. Went for 31 & 28 in this one…(shout out Geary, too).

Funny bonus is Pitino sporting the #1 worst UK polo ever created btw. Lmao 🤢

We all know the finish, but the entire game was bonkers. If nothing else, it’s worth it to start at 1:15, minimum - ideally, the full 2H.

Brassow. Brassowwwwwwwwwwww!

* S-Town is an all-timer. I guess the ultimate question is whether Tyler found hidden gold on John McLemore's property after he died or whether McLemore was full of it. My money would be on there being no gold.

That podcast has always made me want to build a hedge maze.

* Are we just giving up on Z for this year? For good? I believe that he's not even able to practice now because 45 days have passed since he got to UK and he's not been cleared by the NCAA.

* Every day that goes by without Deone Walker entering the transfer portal is a great day, imo. Key, Brown, Afari and the other youngbloods too. It seems like Stoops and Co. have a good handle on keeping the guys they want, which is nice.

With NIL, we may be seeing the advent of NFL style "cap management" where you have to field a team of about 45 key players and just fill in the rest with what you can get and hope you avoid injuries.

If brady is correct that we are getting Vandagriff for a fraction of what it took to get Leary, that would seem to have a similar advantage to getting a great QB on a rookie contract and allow us to focus resources on improvement elsewhere.

My SIL has an vacation property in Cocoa Beach so I'm taking the fam there from Christmas Day until New Years. It's a 2 hour drive to Jacksonville but it will be a game time decision because who the hell knows who is even playing. Last years bowl may have broke me.

For those discounting the importance of Vince Marrow… here is the single-most reason that he exceeds his paid value. The dude is genuine and keeps contact with the kids and families even if they DONT pick the Cats on initial recruitment.

With the portal, kids remember Vince as the cool uncle who will steer them right.

UK needs 2-3 more BigDawg Groanmen to do his job too.

I worry for Vince cause he doesn’t look healthy.
