I'm not saying Cal is above criticism, lord knows I've done a fair share.

In game can be different, especially in hindsight.

Worst 5 years in school history? Seriously?

Cal just said he told the team not to foul up 3 with 7.6 left and as they broke the huddle he told Reed to foul Cadeau once he got past half court. Then after the play when the ball bounced off Ryan he asked why he didn’t foul.

I mean, Coach come on!! He can’t help but try to make this kid some flawed typical FR.

I’m so furious. Should have scored 115.

Slow down ball as expected. Can’t believe we kept running post **** and kept forcing the iso to AB & Ugo. Especially late. Just like Bruiser said, so no surprise at least .

Why not put the game in our guards hands to make the clutch plays down the stretch? I’ll never understand

I’ll take it, but I’m super mad and madder than anyone of all time

Hardly. there's nothing he can bring up that every regular on here doesn't already know.

Besides, I like BBdK, he just likes to flex sometimes. No biggie. I actually like it. It's why he's Wodie. None of this would be here w/o him.

Good Cal moment from the game. Too lazy to go get the timestamps, but around the 4-5 min mark of the game, Reeves threw up an uninspired, mid-range brick. Cal pulled him for Shep and he made a great defensive play about two possessions later. Cal gets Reeves back in the game around the 2 min mark and he immediately hits a bucket. Credit it where it's due; that was some good roster management at the end of a close game.

Man, if Edwards played up to his billing this team would be extremely difficult to beat. Hope that kid starts to figure it out but losing minutes is something I am sure he has never dealt with so wonder if his confidence is too shot now to get him dialed in by March.

Jack Givens was talking about him w/Leach the other morning.. He thinks Edwards needs to just concentrate on doing the workmanlike stuff, and work his way OUT to the perimeter/athletic stuff. Get in there, and blue collar it up, get some confidence and the rest will come. His main point though, was, in HIS opinion, UK isn't going to do anything special w/o Edwards blossoming. Take it for what it's worth.

Kick *** Cats. God I hate UNC. JFC. Did walk in with Roy tho, nice fist bump. He’s a cool cat tbh. What an incredible drop to Hubert lmao. Wow.

He’s basically the once discussed (lolz) John Pelphrey hire, only less qualified.

Halal Guys & out. Love y’all. ❤️

I mean, in 13 minutes he had 8 pts, 6 rebs, 1 ast and only 1 TO.

He had a bigger impact on the game than it seemed. It would help if he stopped getting his dunks blocked by the bottom of the rim.

Everyone who played today contributed to the win. We score in a variety of ways from a variety of players. We hit threes. We score fast break points. We can post guys up. Seemingly everyone who enters the game under 7 feet can take their guy off the dribble and score in the half court. We go to the foul line and convert. We pass well. We get steals and now we're getting blocks. We're unselfish. We had three of our prized freshmen (DJ, Rob, A-Brad) diving on the floor for loose balls in the first half.

This is my kind of team. This is a special team. This is the reason I stuck with Cal. I felt like he still had it in him. I'm glad I kept the ark afloat.

I get the Pelphrey/Hubert comparison but I loathe it. Pelphrey to me here at UK isn’t even close to what Hubert was.

But I literally played ball in my drive way as a kid yelling out Pelphrey from from the corner, Feldhaus from the elbow, Woods from anywhere around the rim and Farmer from any angle and especially straight away!

While UNC fans should know the pain those boys played through, they never will never know or sympathize.

On a side note, and nothing new, but this group is special! So continue on bitching in game about every imperfection, but FFS appreciate this run this season and this group. Don’t let this pass you by being a sanctimonious little *****!
