Winter is awesome.

[banana]

Do people really eat enough bread and eggs to clear the shelves? We make a lot of grilled cheese, PBJ, etc., but rarely go through more than a loaf a week. My wife and I rarely eat bread. We maybe use a dozen eggs a month.

I think a lot of people get it for the convenience factor. When the weather is normal, you can run to McD's or wherever and grab food. When its like this, you're homebound and sandwiches, toast, breakfast foods are easy things to fix and they're comfort foods.

We go through bread like a sonuvabitch. Pretty sure we can make it 24-48 hours without extra loaves though.

Not counting when we have people over and buy a baguette or something I bet we use 3 loaves per year. She keeps some silly whole spouted BS in the fridge.

Also, bread in the freezer is stupid and awful.

I love all 3 of those things. We just don't keep bread around. Run through eggs like a mofo. Moderate milk consumption.

Mike Anderson's coaching, a summary.

"We're gonna press 'em, they're gonna turn it over, and we're gonna score."

(Opponent safely brings ball up the floor)

"WELP"

Pretty much. But not everyone has ol' Ty Ulis. That freaking guy. Unflappable. And Briscoe handled the pressure well, too.

Everyone did. Willis was a huge help on several occasions. You can't use Lee or Poythress like that. They're fine to set a pick but Willis was taking the ball across 1/2court.

-GYERO been calling for that small ball lineup for a month. I think once that team gels, they looked really awkward, we have some dangerous potential. Geese had to be in heaven last night. So happy for him.

So a kid from Cincinnati is in North Korean jail today for allegedly trying to take down the government or something- probably had some bootleg Simpsons episodes on his laptop and will now rot in a gulag. I dunno, didn't read the details.

On one hand, I certainly feel bad for him and his family and friends and hope he gets home soon.

On the other hand DON'T GO TO NORTH KOREA IT'S CRAZY AND DANGEROUS AND THEY DON'T LIKE US.

Kind of tough for the weather folks when nothing hits during the morning drive and they've scheduled three straight hours of OMG SNOW coverage. Just saw a woman with a live feed on an E'town gas station. She said "Normally you would see cars here, getting coffee, breakfast, filling up their tanks... This is a very popular gas station... Now there's just one car there, and that car belongs to the employee working inside! This is absolutely surreal!"

It's almost like all the schools and businesses preemptively shut down, you ninny.
