Shaved your head yet, Joey?
I keep it tight with a "2" every two weeks or so, but want to shave it - I lament this publicly. We've got six guys out 50 employees at my office with clean domes and I think my burgeoning bald brotherhood status helped me land the job, honestly.

But, to shave my head, I want to shave my beard, but to shave my beard, I want to drop my "Cincy 30."

So it is a real race against the clock, that I have yet to begin.

Luckily, I have resigned myself to the fact the cone of possibility of my life has shrunken to raising & providing for a family and with the backdrop of this town of swamp rats, I am very ahead of the game in the present-ability department - with ample room (on the waistline) to coast.

TBH, I calculatedly let myself go a bit when I moved here, because my high standards are just as hate-able on the job as they are on this board. Combine that potential with me staying in shape, and I would've been resented even more. The lbs show an easy fault, imo.

My wife can attest to all of this, as she has not been happy with this strategy from the start.

What was the font we used that basically doubled the length of your college essay? (along with a few other formatting tricks) I'm drawing a blank here.

GOD BLESS that font, TS.

*pretends to pull shades down & blow imaginary smoke rings into the air*

Several professors had caught on before I got out. That would take 2 paragraphs of Times New 12pt and make 2 pages. Started mandating word counts and specific formatting instructions.

Few times I even dabbed into to tightening the margins. Obviously, more work than just finishing the damn paper.

What would I be doing today if it was 2001? Shew.

Liberal arts, independent, private and Catholic. No doubt. I'm sure the standards at your nationally recognized center of higher learning were much tougher.

About 8.5 inches and still going strong (like me lolololiwish) on top of .3 inch of ice. Not much fun in south central right now.

I reckon a feller could make a pretty good profit today driving around a 4-wheeler with cases of beer and such on the back of it.

I honestly didn't pay attention to the fonts on the Bud Walton Arena baselines last night, but if they are still the same as what the GOOGLE machine shows me, Professor Joey was right... something in the College family.

Ironically enough, that is the same family that the KENTUCKY on our uni is.

Mom just drove into town. I think the interstates and main roads will be fine by mid-day tomorrow. We missed the ice so that's helping. Guys are reporting main roads are ok and neighborhoods are a mess.

Really starting to come down now. Probably 3" in the last 2 hours and the wind is picking up.

^ an inch? LOL. It's up to my high shin in my backyard, and I'm only probably 6'0

Lass had to close tonight, so she's pretty much trapped in Shep. Work putting her up in a hotel across the street for the night, which we planned tentatively on Wednesday anyways just in case...but it's come to fruition -- she's already there, so working OT to cover for everyone who could't make it in today.

Definitely don't want her navigating 65N at 10pm tonight.

[cheers]

What's everyone's top five fonts? I'll go.

1. Courier New
2. Arial
3. Times New Roman
4. Verdana
5. Comic Sans

/WCC

I'd imagine WCC would have at least one cool "urban" font like this "blender" nonsense* this design company has us using to go with our new graffiti-esque branding. (Because there's nothing more "cool" or "urban" than a small Jesuit university in Norwood, Ohio.)

I shoveled my driveway clean this morning. Easily had another 3-4" when I stopped by home a bit ago.

Yes, casino is *perfect* on days like today. Enjoy.

Well, the old stuff is still there, so hard to ignore it. Little Murphy can't even make it 20 feet into the yard without almost disappearing.

Still calling ******** on 1 inch...it's snowed all damn day at my house, and isn't stopping. Maybe you're on the edge of the snow or something, but that's just plain FALSE.

I'm down for Casino or "other" entertainment. I'll host (for once) :sunglasses:

you should pull a move out of your old college/sherard circle playbook and drag all the living room furniture and your big screen outside and set it up on your front lawn, bbdk.

weather aside, it just seems like a fun maneuver. particularly with the lass out of pocket for the evening.
