I mean, if you truly don’t understand why Louisville is the better job, than Baylor, by a longshot, it’s really not worth arguing about.
This is where a conversation with you is different than 85% of this thread that’s constantly rationalizing “I don’t care what it cost FIRE CAL”.
UL >> Baylor and I agree historically, but that’s not what I’m arguing. UL needs a salesman of sorts to not just produce W’s but promote the program and excite the fan base.
I don’t pretend to know anything about Drew either, but he couldn’t seem farther from that kind of personality. I don’t honestly know what openings have attempted reaching out to Drew in his time at Baylor but a few have had to just in due diligence if nothing else, and he is still there and has them as a regular in the top 10-15 the last 15 years and currently is ranked 12th with a #5 recruiting class locked in.
It’s JMO considering all that and then adding Drew honestly doesn’t seem like an ACC style coach so the fit is just odd to me, and I can see why he’d not go there.
