Up until a few months ago I had access to Porter Memorial's gym. We're visiting churches now so I'll keep "easy access to gym for GYERO basketball" on the list while looking.

Funniest thing last night was 73 calling a double dribble on buckethead during a mini scrum in the lane. Dude is a stickler.

I have no business even showing up. I turn 43 in two days and I'm in terrible shape. I'll be lucky to play 1/2 of a game. But I'm not missing throwing Brooks **** across the gym so hard that those long blonde locks won't know what hit them.
And like chase said, you better believe I'll be on here Tue morning talking ****.

Only made 2 calls last night. One was when 73 drove baseline and into out of bounds. The other was in the first game.

Wodie pumped faked, drove past the elbow and I swiped the the ball off his knee.

Yup. Thought 73 would argue the call but he then looked down & realized where his feet were.

73 still has that set shot 3 off the catch. Thing was money in the first 2 games.

That red line was tricky.

Richie's 4 steps after he catches the ball at the top of the key has always been a hatboggan for me. Give him a beard and he'd be Luke Hancock.

Well after multiple nurses explain why my Achilles wasn't ruptured, the Dr comes in and in 20 seconds destroys all hopes. Throws me a boot and schedules surgery. Then tells the nurse to get an MRI set up too. Ha!

My wife who is a nurse as well, calls her Dr friend and explains it all and was advised to just go with it. Obviously something is wrong and the MRI will confirm but that's tomorrow.

-Actually didn't mind guarding Vern. Because of my height and length I always guarded his type as well as one could. But when he had the ball in open court I was toast, apparently.

- After catching **** over my Tshirt request, of course it would have helped and there was confusion.

- UC Law School may be moving to The Banks? Interesting. Lots of stuff going on down there with GE's new building opening, too.

- Achilles is my biggest fear regarding a return to the court. Just seems so vulnerable.

That sucks, krazy. Hate to hear it. I was looking forward to the matchup. You were obviously ready to bang. Hope all goes well.

My 7th grader was playing at the KBA this weekend when the power went out and his game was rescheduled at Imani Baptist Church on Georgetown Rd. That place has two full size courts with scoreboards on each court. Cricket needs to church shop there.

Our old man basketball happens on Thursday nights that way you only have to work on Friday and you have the weekend to recover.

-How many explosive **** sport stories do you have? Jesus, man.

-Feet hurt b/c of new shoes probably. Wear those things around the house to break them in. I do that with running shoes for a good month before putting them on.

-I'd play if someone put it together in Lex at a reasonable time.

-Everyone must have really been just awful if the back patting is this nauseating.

Weird a guy that once stole credit cards from teammates turned out to be a giant bag of **** years later.

^Truth. You don't just decide to steal a friends credit cards with a major morality issue. This isn't a DUI where a good person made a bad decision. Stealing and using credit cards is a premeditated scum bag thing to do. He tries to brush it off but that is a personality flaw that goes deeper than dumb decision.

I do know that Bucket is a helluva lot better rebounder than Skal. Seriously how do you play 32 minutes at 7' tall and not get a rebound??? Bucket had 2 or 3 that literally just dropped into his hands.

The Golden State Warriors’ plan of pursuit predates their 2015 championship run, a bold plot to declare the futility of resistance. It isn’t only that the NBA champions are determined to recruit Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, the truth is that they’re the most intriguing destination to him. If Durant leaves the Thunder, the Warriors are the significant frontrunners to sign him, league sources told The Vertical.

Per Woj. Can you even imagine?

Lex crew- we'll start a super-secret e-mail chain for those who want to play. E-mail me: tfields11 at gmail.com and we'll start figuring out the details.

No, I can't imagine KD with the Warriors. It would just be unfair. I still think it's a shame Seattle moved to OKC. Durant and Westbrook were made to wear Sonics gear, would have been filthy.

What are the odds they build a time machine and grab 2009 Dirk to play the 5?
