The scuttlebutt on Z is that he cheated on his first entrance English exam & then bombed the second one. Just let the kid cheat ffs, imo. Hes not coming to Kentucky to get a degree in ag economics or become an elementary school teacher. Who gives a ****.
Wow.

Looks like someone didn’t get the memo that college sports are about the STUDENT-athlete, not the other way around.

I'd put Madonna on the female Mt. Rushmore of superstars that couldn't "sing." I'd also go with Cher - she was the one that basically ushered in auto-tune. Round it out with Brittney and Taylor.

Miley Cyrus surprisingly has some pipes.

Carrie Underwood over sings every song she's ever done. Sounds like a heifer bellowing into a microphone during every refrain.

Edited to add: Is that blood or poo or both? That looks terrifying.

Snakes on a plane?!?!?! More like SQUIRTS on a plane! Nailed it.

I've reached out to Tiffany Gomas to see if she had any comments on the flight and a member of her team let me know that Tiff *WILL* be addressing it soon.

-every character is awesome but:

1. Keefe (it ain't close, imo)
2. BJ
3. Uncle Baby Billy
4. Judy

*don't sleep on Matthew*

-they also do a great job casting the ancillary characters. Eric Roberts, Steve Zahn etc.

-such a good show...it's allowed me to talk the wife into watching EB&D, so that's nice.
The thing I love about it is Danny McBride made it, writes on it and basically Shepards the whole show. And in real life he is hilarious. Yet on the show he is like the 6th funniest character bc he has made the others so well written and developed. Sort of like what Seinfeld did.

It has already entered my top 10 comedies ever and one more good season and it’s top 5

- I’ve enjoyed Billions so far. It’s obvious the wagons are circling back to the original few seasons and should be a great final season.

- Met with the attorney for yesterday in Lex. Definitely didn’t have everything covered as I thought I did, but even he was amazed at where I’m at in the approval process.

Apparently some politician in Shepherdsville is really pissed over the barrel tax issue, and for some reason my property isn’t annexed into Mount Washington yet so we get the joy of dealing with him on the state filing.

Maybe I’ll proactively meet him as a nobody and donate to the the firehouse or something there.

- Soccer tonight, Football in Meade county tomorrow, fall baseball game Friday. I’m supposed to be irritated by it all but I love it. Every minute of it including talking to the kids after games about what they’re seeing and processing out there.

I truly miss those days!

- I’ve switched to Miller High Life probably for good. The old man drank them and I get it now. They were a pleasant change for the weekend as I blasted my Jimmy Buffett poolside all weekend. Only so many margaritas I can take before switching.

- Cheering for the Yankees and the St Louis Cardinals over the next few weeks. Someone please slow down the damn brewers!

- I’m pushing for my labels to get done so I can get these Armanac bottled Friday. It just so happens KSR is at the distillery this Friday too.

Sorry, J.....this makes no sense. There is no "star" voice label. 1001 different types of voices have went on to become one of the best in their genre. Sure, there are great singers who can blow the roof off w/ their style, but that doesn't make them any "better" in terms of stardom....countless cases of this. There are more George Straits of the word than Luther's. The examples you listed have all different styles, ranges, etc.
Fair points. Maybe not worded the best on my end. Willing to concede there’s more to singing than just crushing the notes. These are some of my favorites, so not a criticism. Same for Dwight Yoakam, who’s my all-time favorite for country music, but won’t ever be thought of in the discussion of George Jones, Merle Haggard, Waylon, etc.

Oh yay! Name a bunch of ****** bands day!! I always love those.
You got your wish.

On PFF, believe Collinsworth was one of the first to use their data in prep work. Liked it so much, he bought the company and expanded.

A lot of you guys going off the menu and paying the price in the bathroom. SMH.

I’m with PTI on the singer discussion.

  1. Jimmy Buffet sounded like a guy singing at a popular beach bar. That was his charm. And plus he wrote the songs. I don’t think it would have worked if his voice sounded like Mel Torme or something.
  2. John Mayer can sing. So can Axl Rose. What the f is the matter with you idiots?

Yeah, on an over produced CD the man is great. Otherwise, when he was sober enough to perform he wasn’t worth a 💩

Mayer can sing but watching his facial expressions is excruciating

Lol @ August looking deep in Mayer’s eyes while he sings “Your body is a Wonderland”.
I’m definitely a swooner. Ole boy looks like he is constipated 90% of the time, at least he did with Dead & Co. I’d never really seen him before.

I saw a first year math instructor moonlighting as “The Mad Russian” at the rasslin’ matches one Tuesday night at the Louisville Gardens. Or maybe teaching was the moonlighting.

Great stuff today Drum.

Don't make me bring The Song Game back on your ***.

And Anth can laugh all he wants, but I shant forget his drunken "What is this ish???" commentary at the Extravaganza when Prine's Paradise was playing. He's my go-to guy for rescuing a home from heat and cold -- the GOAT -- but I'm not taking his playlist advice. ;)

I love that the Cubs have separated from the wild card pack, and with Stroman eyeing his return to give them the 1-2 punch we need I’m ready for one hell of a September!

I wish I could slow it all the way down and bask in this months glory but as Tracy Lawrence says Time Marches On!

Screw the wildcard, they are only 1.5 back from the Brewers. That last series at Wrigley could be insane.
