“Breaking: The Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes have restructured his agreement, giving him $210.6 million between 2023 and 2026, the most money in NFL history over a four-season span”

$52+ million guaranteed a year over 4 years is pretty well hamstringing your payroll unless there’s something I don’t know about how it’s paid.

I don’t think he was ever planning on leaving or looking elsewhere anyway but 🤷‍♂️.

Shorts:

- Look, I’m the first person to get my phone out to film a fight, start yelling “Worldstar!” and post on social media with a title like “Steeler Fan got PUT TO SLEEP”… at NFL games. But let’s keep that **** out of college stadiums. Have always appreciated the family atmosphere of Commonwealth (while admittedly drunk off my ***).

- The Wrestler was great- the classic Artist. v. The Suit story.

- I remember selling candybars oute of Kroger to make money for uniforms when I was a kid. I feel it’s a small but important lesson. So when I come across a kid out selling stuff to support his teams, I’ll happily buy something. Flash forward to this weekend, I come out of Lowes to a boyscout with his parents selling some kettlekorn. I say “sure I’ll take a bag- how much?”

“Starts at $15 up to $50.”

These are not big bags. I spent $15 for something I could have bought for $4 at Speedway. The boyscouts are greedy MFers.

- Is there a worse animal of any kind than Min Pins? Obnoxious yapping unfriendly pricks.

- Can I get a Tommy Report on the Chick-fil-a pimento cheese sandwich? Way to abandon your friends when they need you most bro.

- There is awkward then there is “NFL pregame studio analysts doing a standing segment” awkward.

- The NEXT revolution in football will be an ultra athletic punter as game-changing weapon.

- There’s no way Taylor Swift is dating that douche bag Travis Kelce. No way in hell.

- I’ll absolutely ask for a bourbon list at a bar. wtf

- Oktoberfest is easily my favorite Cincinnati festival. Had to miss it because my daughter caught hand-foot-mouth. Maybe next year. 😑

-If you’ve noticed her dating past, I’m pretty sure there are 0 jocks in her repertoire as far as I know. Usually skinny soft pusses.

-Asking for a bourbon list is very normal, nothing wrong with that. Never worked at a bar besides deshas that had a bourbon list though, like to keep it that way, not my crowd to tend for. Happy to go to those bars but don’t want to work at one.

Prefer a sports bar or casual bar so we can banter back and forth with choice words, way more fun and almost like hanging with buddies while working.

-Had an Oktoberfest freshly brewed beer last week at the Midland Brewing Company and boy that hit the spot.

-So pops has like 10s of 1000s in gold coins he needs me to sell, anyone have an idea how to go about that and obviously not a pawn shop?

That makes the story about sitting on a curb eating chicken outside a bar that you were denied entry pale in comparison.

Was really disappointed they didn't announce the Tennessee-Florida score at the game one time. Note to UK gameday coordinators: anytime Tennessee has lost a game, announce the score at the stadium. Hell, announce it anytime they are behind at a quarter. It would get louder than during the Blue-White cheer. C'mon Carl, give us what we want.

Also, maybe wait until game breaks to have your hussies throwing t-shirts instead of when EVERYONE IS ACTUALLY WATCHING THE GAME. They need to do some curls or give them a cannon because none of them got it over 10 rows anyway.
I overall agree about how absolutely pitiful UK is at in game media for the fans in attendance. How they use the video and ribbon boards is an absolutely waste. I'm sure a UK sophomore could do a better job of in game production than they do currently.

Also, they did actually show about 5 minutes of the UF-UT game on the video boards during halftime of the UK game. It was the first time I recall UK ever doing that. I have no idea as to why they don't do that more often and especially during timeouts.

I like gold coins. I’m order to get the most money you are going yo have to do some research and private sell them. I’ve bought and sold thousands of dollars of gold coins over the years. That many at one time is going to be a little harder though. There are people out with money that horde/collect gold so there are buyers. Basic rule is 20.00 coin is an ounce, 10.00 1/2 ounce and so forth down the line. Take spot price of gold and hope to get a little over to the right buyer. That is strictly the gold value. Some have what is called numismatic value which the value of the coin based on date, mint, condition, etc and they can be worth more than gold alone. I sold a 3 1/2 gold coin for over 1000.00 when the “gold value” was only around 300. Good luck

They did, which I enjoyed.

Last year, they showed a portion of the Alabama-Tennessee game in pregame. The sidelines fans would cheer when Alabama scored, the student section cheered when Tennessee scored. While eyeroll worthy, I can't really criticize the student section because they are worlds better these last few years than it ever was previously, even if they are too young to realize Alabama has never been the enemy no matter how elite they have been.

-taking a kid under 4 to Disney is an absolute waste of time and treasure...they don't remember the trip.

I disagree. I've taken a 3 year old to Disney before. Cute factor overload. Plus, she was so sweet. That same 3-year old went this year (11 years later) as a 14-year old and she acted at times like, well, a 14 year old. But sure, she remembered it well!

- I hate Travis Kelce, in part because he runs his mouth and because he's an incredible player that plays for an AFC rival. But truthfully, I really hate him because that handsome BDE mf is the prototype for the dude who would have ruined my LIFE between the ages of 24-29. I mean ruined like years of therapy about the sobbing phone calls to my bestie at 11 pm because he was a dick to me followed by "ay girl you up" texts 45 minutes later that would have gotten eggplant and heart eye emojis from me within 32 seconds of receipt. RUINT. **** him. Not that kind of ****, the bad kind.

But I wouldn't be shocked if Taylor is willing to f around and find out if this is accurate. Spill the tea on whether he can back up the BDE with reality, Tay.

- Moving/selling/buying a home is the most exhausting, soul-sucking thing I've ever done, and I've taken bar exams in two states. Sure would be neat if utility companies showed up to do their work when they were scheduled, and didn't just blow it off for weeks leaving the customers without recourse! But I finally get to close on my brand new house at the end of the week. If it hadn't happened this week, you all may have seen a news item about a white woman screaming at Duke Energy employees outside the HQ downtown. Nasty little reminder about why monopolies are, in fact, bad!

- RAY MF DAVIS.

- While waiting on Duke to get their crap together to put a gas line in my house, we have been staying at a friend's place out in BFE. There is nothing prettier than central Kentucky in September. I also never want to live 20 minutes away from a Kroger ever again as long as I live.

- Staying out there alone while my husband is at his site out of town is also the most creeped out I've ever felt in my entire life. Statistically, I know becoming a Dateline episode is a far more likely fate in any of the urban/suburban places I've lived in my life, including the house we just sold. Out in BFE, the biggest danger is probably getting pecked to death by a flock of wild turkeys and eaten by the Passat-sized turkey vultures and/or brick-sized spiders, but I still can't shake the feeling I'm going to see Michael Myers if I look out a window at night. The quiet is unsettling as hell. /puss

- Pat McAfee might be overexposed right now, but I enjoy the hell out of his work, tbh. Also, beyond jealous he got to do his show from Boulder Friday morning and show up with the Rock at Smackdown that night AND administer the people's elbow.

Pimento Sandwich is decent. I went spicy. It is pretty messy. The most polarizing aspect is the coldish blob of pimento cheese mixes with a fresh and hot filet. It makes for a weird texture.

It’s a once a month order.

I’d be willing to bet you’re the complete opposite type gal a murderer would want to get involved with, wouldn’t you just powerbomb him using glute and back strength like a deadlift to pick him up then transition to lat muscles to slam him on his head and back?

I like the cfa pimento sandwich quite a bit. It’s been my Wednesday night dinner the past 2 weeks after dropping the kids at youth group. That palomar cfa is great, llama. Probably top of my cfa rankings. Palomar also holds the spot for best McDonald’s in lex as well, if you recall.

I’ve successfully put off the Disney trip for like 10 straight years. My wife will probably leave me over it someday, but I always wiggle my way out of it. She wanted to go this fall break and somehow I hoodoo’d my way into us taking a trip to Santa Rosa with my whole family 😂😂😂 god I bet she hates me

I just see all these TikTok’s about how downright awful it is and I just have no interest in it. It looks horrific tbh

Gold 1 ounce coins should bring about $2,000 per coin at the moment. I would take them to a coin dealer with good google reviews. I would expect they will offer around $1,900 per coin. Well worth letting them hassle with it.

If he had graded or high grade gold coins you need to have someone look at them that isn’t buying them and get an idea of value.

Took the 4 and 2 year old (back when they were 4 and 2) on a Disney cruise. 3 days/2 nights. Was perfect. No lines, cheaper than disney world, characters all walking around, great drinks with cocktail menus, good food, had a daycare that we did one night and then ate at a legit 3 star Michelin . Disneyworld seems like hell to me with 3 kids right now. Will probably do the cruise with all 3 next year. It’s the only cruise I’ve done and will probably ever do tbh.

Congrats on already moving into your house pretzel JFC. Our move in date is October 13th, a cool 32 months since I bought my lot.

32 months?!? How have you maintained even a facade of sanity? I’ve been on the verge of a nervous breakdown for months dealing with multiple houses and I don’t even have 1 kid, let alone 3. JFC man, I hope your move goes off without a hitch.

I love these temps but I swear fall for me is just blah M-TH.

Up at 630a, get kids ready from 630-9a when I drop off the last kid, go to work/run down home until 4, get home take vitamins make sure kids snack then run them to and from soccer, football, baseball until 7p, then fix dinner, make sure homework is done and read books with the little guys, then it’s bath time.

Other than forcing my 2 mile walk I’m just toast anytime I’m actually home. In a few weeks it will be dark by 6pm and things only get worse from there.

Complete 180 energy wise vs Spring and Summer where I seemingly am ready to do whatever all day any day. Baseball games, dinners, parties, cookouts, swim, basketball etc etc etc just never ending energy.

-Yes he’s said they’ve gone up in value since 2015 and they were worth quite a bit then. Usually 1-2K a piece. It’s just a realm, like court and lawyers, I have no business doing on my own and at least I recognize that.

I want someone solid that isn’t trying to take me or more specifically pops.

I’ll call that guy for sure as I don’t trust my pops ability to not get absolutely handled in that situation since his favorite line when he doesn’t understand is, “that’ll be okay.”

-And yes @pretzel__logic even at my size(not big but bigger than most) I’d rather have a Glock or my FNX 45 than anything else. Stand your ground and whatnot.

I’m sure you’ll be fine but get the worry way out there.

So pretzel just casually drops a sexual fantasy and we go on discussing moving, our daily routine, the impending doom of another winter, etc?

Cool.

32 months since we’ve been designing but ONLY 19 months since we poured the foundation. It’s been soul sucking and crazy, and I plan on never building again, but it’s definitely surreal and strange feeling that it’s coming to an end. All the emotions, really. Hope your move goes smooth too, definitely exciting to live in your own place that you designed/had a hand in designing. Hope the juice is worth the squeeze.

If you're looking to sell gold in Lexington call Jonathan Kern to set up an appointment. His office is on S Ashland.
Just called him and set an appointment, seems super nice. Thank you.

GYERO always has connects and comes through.

Don’t know where I’d be without @rudd1 s recommendation for a lawyer.

Thank you all

Cool.

To be honest that post was so long I apparently quit reading before the sexual fantasy was revealed. Maybe I should go back an re-read it.
