-older sister had a mini stroke Wednesday, gonna be okay...but alarming to say the least.

-uk visit was nice, facilities are amazing...construction everywhere. I know/am/have been involved in quite a bit of it...but it's still wild when you walk around campus.

^called an audible: visiting transylvania today in lieu of Miami of Ohio.

-**** it, I'm calling it: cats win in a tight game tomorrow.

As whitewashed as that Florida Netflix doc was, watching old videos of Urban Meyer and his obvious physical decline was pretty striking. Makes me inclined to give college football coaches a pass to look like whatever, honestly. There is no laying up, as they say. Outside of the Oval Office, not many other jobs visibly age people that rapidly.

HAVING SAID THAT it's also very possible Meyer was rotting from the inside out because he's kind of a terrible person and that contributed, but still.

Whoever the poster is that said we had to bring the all white unis to Athens, with the white helmet, not chrome.

Well, you got your wish. UK bringing the Ice Cold All White and Blue combo, along with 40 degree temperatures to Georgia Saturday night.

The closer we get to kickoff, the more I like our chances.

This one has 07 LSU vibes.

If Cal doesn’t order all those clothes immediately he’s an idiot.

Also, the comment that said AI Cal is Rick Pitino’s uncle was perfect.

To be fair, Cal is only HALF Italian. And that Italian half is from the Pennsylvania Coal mines, not a front for a Long Island Olive Oil company and dabbling in the local politics.

Glad to see AI generalizing and prejudiced toward Italians… and on Columbus Day to boot.
In Napoli a lot of people are not so happy for Columbus because he was from Genoa. The north of Italy always has the money and the power. They punish the south since hundreds of years. Even today, they put up their noses like we're peasants.

I hate the north.

If UK could get silly and actually beat UGA (and my best bud Coleman Faircloth, is there a whiter southern name in history?) it would probably be the biggest win in our history depending on how they did the rest of the season.

Win that game and we could easily be 11-1 in the playoffs.

In order for Cal to even get close to Pitino for me he will have to leave after wining a title and leave some decent enough players behind to build around.

I don’t forget what Pitino did here, and I don’t forget the ridiculous deal he left for, and then to be honest he barely ever really even beat us although I’m not sure of his actual record it honestly felt as if he only won maybe 5 times in 18ish years at UL.

Then he literally tore down UL on his way out the door which is an indirect and truly remarkable contribution to BBN.

Compared to the last 5-6 years ^^^ would be a godsend to relive!

When it comes to UK sports, I have my superstitions (certain shirts, food,, etc) but there been some signs this week.

"Year of the Cat" was on the radio a few days ago (this started in 1998 when I had not heard the song in years but heard it the week prior to the 1998 NCAA tourney and it will pop up at weird times before a big UK moment, the last time was the week of the Kansas game where we blew them out at Lawrence but that luck didn't hold for the season).

I was driving down I-65 from Louisville on Monday and there's a semi with these mud flaps that had "STOOPS" on them which is the name of some truck parts place but the first time I've ever seen it, and then Wednesday was watching some YouTube videos of breakdowns of the Florida game and analysis/prediction of the Georgia game and sometimes when a video ends it will run into another video of something you didn't select and you don't know why it wound up on that. But I'm cleaning in the kitchen and can hear the TV in the other room when I hear Al Michaels "Do you believe in miracles???" and some 20 minute doc on the "Miracle on Ice" had come on which I then had to stop and watch.

Make of that what you will but I'll also add I'm getting sick of the disrespect all week, patting us on the head and then going on about how bad Florida sucks, even some of our so-called fans. Anyone picking Georgia by two or more scores needs to GTFO with that. Our guys are gonna find a way tomorrow.

That’s good stuff, august. Happy for you. I know you’ve had a journey. Just keep on being the best watchmaker on Mars.

The cold front coming through right now is something to experience on top of a high ridge surrounded by oak and hickory. First true taste of fall, bite in the air, strong winds, clear sky. Perfect Kentucky October night.

We're gonna cause more than a bustle in that hedgerow today, oh yes.

We're gonna make what William Tecumseh Sherman did to that state look like a lil' Georgia peanut.

Lock your doors and windows, Athens... cuz our kittie cats are in heeeaat.

Final score?
